I don't know, but I think they can. Most likely not in the same way as you or I, but they might dream using their other senses: smell, touch, taste, sound, emotion. Stuff like that. It'd be interesting to find out.

Blind people dream. Blind people who were blind at birth don't see in dreams, but people who become blind later in life report to see every once in a while in their dreams. Some blind people report seeing in NDE (near death experiances).

Yes Offcourse they must dream. Dreams isnt all about sight. For those who dont have sight to reflect theyr inner landscape, must use other senses since that is theyr prior senses, to express who they are. We dont pay much attention to other senses in dreams cause weere to hung up in what is infront of our eyes. But its interesting to hear about blind people reporting to "see". To try to describe a sense theyre never have experienced before must be hard. Maybe the sense center in theyr brain is activated a bit. I guess they dont see much shape, and if they did it would make any logic to them.

The parts of our brain that recieve senses are useless during dreams because we aren't using our the organs responsible for the intake of those senses. We rely on memory and imagination to create those senses. I have seen about a dozen threads discussing this issue.

No you are correct. There is a post that pertains to this exact subject. I argued that a blind person can dream where it turned out that it is in fact the opposite. I cannot rememmber the name of the thread.

This is something I never thought about but it is deep. I have heard stories about people who have lost limbs still feel the removed limb(s).
