      When I go to sleep on days when I've felt like I had a real chance of achieving my goals and ambitions, I will close my eys and drift off to sleep. When I reach the stage in between waking and sleeping I usually see this vision of something in the distance. It's usually rather fuzzy and hard to describe, but when I'm there I am usually at peace.
      What I can say about this place is that it is very bright and clear. The outline of said object isn't clear, but I know its surface is smooth and that it is white in color.

      Everytime I have this dream I see more and more, although sometimes there is this nightmare that I associate very closely with this dream as it seems to be the complete opposite.
      The image is fuzzy, but what I can see is absolute chaos.

      Hi Ice,

      Sounds like hypnogoggia, except that you seem to come across the same image during your episodes when most of us just see fragments of images - leftover impressions of scenes experienced earlier in the day or thoughts in our heads.

      Since you say you seem to see more and more each time, it sounds like you'll eventually get to a time when you'll see the picture more clearly. Wonder what it is you'll discover.
