I was just thinking about why I love dreams a few days ago and an idea occured to me of a TV program about some guy's dreams. It wouldn't be the best show admittedly, but I think that the surrealness of the dream would wouldbe quite entertaining.

Each episode would just be the dream and the guy would have an adventure of sorts. His real life could be reflected in the dream. Important things in his life may become a part of his dreams so that who he is and what his life is like could be shown in that way.

I think that the oddness would be the best bit though. Topics like "DC's say the darnest things" provide great entertainment to many individuals on this forum. The sheer randomness could be funny too. For example, he walks through a door in is house straight into Egypt, or it is dark so he flicks a switch and it's suddenly daytime.

Sure, I doubt a program like this would work or get good ratings, but I just thought that I'd share this thought.

Actually if I read your post right here in Canada there is a show based on dreams. It's called in dreams and each episode have a theme dream and different people talk about their dream and analyze such as David King from Trent University and Patti Allen "dream therapist" help connect what happened in their dream to their waking life.

It actually quite interesting. It's on a 16 day program. I think there maybe more if the show catches on.

here is the website if anyone is interested.
