Dry spells in your recall, gotta hate 'em. Seems everyone goes through them eventually. And there is always someone asking how to break a dry spell or how long they last.
My dry spells usually average two weeks. How about the rest of you?
Also, it seems that whenever I take a break from dreaming, it's like I have to start over from the beginning to develop my recall. I've seen a couple of other people mention this, anyone else experience that?

I don't know... sometimes it can be just a few days to several months. Depends on stress, work, etc... or just chance. On average its about a week or so for my dry spells...

I never have a dry spell in recall. Every night is usually filled with some kind of adventure. Now lucidity is another thing. My average LD dry spell lasts about a week, my record has been on month.

It's pretty unusual for me to not recall any dreams at all.
I usually don't have more than a day or two without recalling dreams.
As far as lucidity, in the year since I've started I've had one two month dry spell (that was no fun). And sometimes I'll go two weeks at a time with no LDs.
But in all, I've been very happy with my ability to lucid dream...and to just enjoy non-lucids as well.

mine can usually last a week... but I think they're starting to shorten up now, but even though they're short, the recall is small...
