REM effects from altering sleep times

I hope its okay to post this here as not many seem to be in the "alternate sleep schedule forum:

I've recently started a sleep cycle where I sleep about two hours every four waking hours. This gives me the 8 hours that I feel I need. The reason I am doing this is I really I need to find a better constant balance between my waking time and sleeping time... so that I remember my reality checks better as well as remembering to attempt WILD when my alarm wakes me. I am still adjusting to this and have not been remembering many dreams.. and also feeling very groggy a lot.

My Question: Because I am not sleeping longer than two hours at a time, what kind of brain wave states will my sleep be in. Am I still having the light REM as well as the deep rest states that occur during a normal sleeping night? Am I likely to have more of either of these states during my new schedule? And most importantly: do you think I will dream more or less?

Hi, I don't know much about the effects of altering REM. But what I read is if U upset the previous night's sleep/REM cycle...the next night's REM will be immediate, meaning U will go to REM very fast.
