      Your favourite Dream Journal

Which of the Dream Journals of DV members do you find the most interesting?

      I like Oneironaut's Matrix
And Moonbeam's Last night I had the strangest dream
A generous heart, kind speech, and a life of service
and compassion are the things which renew humanity.

Thank you, dodobird. I think you should start a journal too! What do you say?

      Thanks for the plug, dodo!

There are just so many great journals out there. If I had to pick two off the top of my head, though, I would probably go with Vex Kitten's and The Cusp's. But there are so many others that I love, it would be really hard (and kinda unfair) to choose.

I didn't want to say anybody, because I was afraid I'd forget somebody. But OK, besides O's (which is so good it is has at least 3 editions):

Caradon has great lucid success; really as many or more lucids as anyone I've seen, and very exciting, action-packed dreams.

TwoShadows is another one whose lucids seem so effortless, it's inspiring to read them. (And also beautiful photography.)

mark has amazing recall and includes the little details that make you really feel the dream with him.

Off the top of my head, I'm sure I forgot someone...they're all interesting; sometimes you get started reading some and neglect the others. I wish I had time to read them all. SkySaw had a good idea for everyone to visit a journal that you don't usually visit.

Honestly, I don't have the time or energy to read very many DJs. I only keep up with a few: Lucidbulbs, Moonbeam, Twoshadows, pj. Sometimes I read entries in NeAvO's and Oneironaut's and Cold Blooded's. I've read entries in a few others but, like I said, I simply cannot keep up with them all. I used to read some others as well. But I have too much going on to keep up anymore. I don't even keep up with my own as I should.

So for me to choose a best is unfair right from the beginning. I can only say that the ones I read on a regular basis are very interesting and full of adventure. With that in mind, I'll say that my own is my favorite. But only because it contains many of my own lucid dreams, not that they're any good or contain anything of interest to anyone else.

Now, see, I knew I'd forget someone. Of course your lucids are interesting. Your regular dreams have some unforgettable images too.

Really I like reading anyone's lucid dream. They are always amazing. I don't know why I still think that, you'd think I'd be used to it by now, but they are.

Thanks Moonbeam, O and GH for the replies.

I don't know if I will make a Dream Journal on DV soon because it's a hard discipline for me just to write the dream quickly on paper when I get up, and to copy it again on DV will be too much... Unless I feel that it is a good practice and helps with my recall somehow. Also many of my dreams are so perverted I don't know if I want to expose myself so much.

Well maybe the new sub-forum for special dreams that O is making will be a place for some of your good ones, which I would like to see.

Don't worry about the perversion, it happens. We won't judge you by your dreams.

And Clairity! How could I forget Clairity!

And I didn't mention The Cusp either, with his strange dreams, each one beautifully illustrated.

Uhmm, I've been reading Clairity's as well. See, that's why I hate calling out names; I always forget someone. That's also why I can't even attempt to name a favorite. I love them all. I just don't have time to indulge in them all.

But I really have been reading Clairity's lately.

      Wow.. thanks guys!

After these comments, I really need to start entering my dreams more regularly! I've been kinda lazy about transferring them from my memo pad into my DV dream journal.

      Thanks Moonbeam!

I really Like all the ones I've been following. I don't get much free time, so it's hard to read many of them. and I'm not the fastest typer so it takes a while for me to post dreams and read other journals too.

These are the ones I've been following.
      Moonbeam's
      Mark's
      Clairity's.. which hasn't had a lot lately.
      The Cusp
      Recently Oneironaut's.
      Some of Twoshadow's
      Some of Oneironaught's
      Some of Vex Kitten's
      Some of Mes Tarrant's
Their all great to read! and very inspiring. I wish I had time to check out more of them.

You've got a good start with your journal, awoke.

Somebody who comes and goes, but whose dreams are the most weird, eerie little stories and really fun to read is Oneironut. I swear he could publish them as a short story collection. I found where he got his Flying Man avatar too--a book called The Lucid Dreamer, which 3&4 recommended.

Burned up does an amazing analysis of all his dreams; I've never seen anything like it. And Redrivertears has a huge number of lucids.
