A bunch of short dreams or a continuous plot?

Hey guys, I'm new here but I've been reading the forums a lot. I've been having great dream recall lately, I can usually remember 5-8 dreams per night, which leads me to my question: is it more common for you to have one long plot-driven dream, a few dreams that all relate to a single ongoing plot, or a whole bunch of unrelated dreams? I seem to be more likely to have a bunch of short unrelated dreams, but I love it when I get the long plot-driven dreams (which usually contain a few snippets of short unrelated dreams too). Do you think there's any way to make yourself more likely to have the long plot dreams than the short unrelated dreams?
