Is it like you calf tenses up super super strong, and you feel the muscle all tightened? In this case... a charlie horse. The worst pain ever! I wake up screaming to these sometimes. Literally screaming! Then I laugh afterwards because they are funny, after it's over with. lol

Yea, sometimes they are bad enough to tear your muscle, and therefore you have pain all the next day. Look it up on google, I'm sure you will find out there.

I've had a charlie horse bad enough where it was killin the next day and if I walked, it would tense up again and it was horrible.

I maybe be wrong because I don't know what you're going through. It's just my only guess, sorry.

      wierd!!

hey, I just got up from a nap and had a very odd dream, I'd rather not open a new thread so I'll post it here....*start*I am in a dark field lit only by the moon, my thoughts start manifesting into visual things, as I think they show up in front of me. I am standing looking at thoughts...one that came of often was *state*. I then start seeing others thoughts manifested as simple squares and also oppinions, the oppinions are spheres, the thoughts start bonding to form sentences. As I'm standing there I start breathing and on the exhales liquid starts flowing out, a clear liguid...it tastes bitter. It starts pooling on the ground and starts forming into familiar shapes and images which are accompanied by sounds that are often thought to go with said shapes or images. Then the sun rises which starts drying up the pool of images leaving a phrase burnt into the dirt the phrase is "Solitude and loneliness are things of which are miles apart" the second I finish reading it the ground turns to sand, the dunes flow like waves, I struggle to stand up. When I stand I see a man who appears to be around 6' tall...maybe 36...has a beard. He is wearing 70's clothes and he then says to me"When thoughts manifest reality limits are as [immigration]"(don't understand). The ground then precends to sink under water until it falls beneath my feet, I find my self in water but dry. I start looking for land and find myself inclose in a large bubble, I look below me into the waters and find words swimming and swirling beneath me like fish would. The word "Strength" then grabs my leg and pull me under...the second my eyes go under water I'm falling and look up not to find the surface but clouds, I look down and see the planets, I pass out in the dream or something*end* Thats it....what does all this mean?

Ummm...do you mean cramp? Yes, that's happened to me a few times although not for a long while. I wonder if some kind of tension builds up during sleep and is connected to dreaming?

yeah, Charlie Horses are all types of bad news.
Eat more Potassium (found in bannanas among other things), that'll keep them at bay.

I have never heard that term before. I looked it up on Wiki and it states it's a North American description of something I know only as cramp. I wonder if the term will ever cross the Atlantic?
