Thread: Spicy Foods

Does anybody know if eating spicy foods before you sleep affects the contents of dreams?

For example, i had eaten a spicy link then went to bed a few minuets later. That night i noticed my dreams were very strange, more strange than usual. i was wondering if it was because of what i had eaten or if possible the food acted as a placebo because i was told that spicy foods can affect you in some way.
