Cool Great news! A new SP technique?

I'm doing a little experiment with myself where I try to WILD keeping my eyes open for a while, first removing the placebo that I can't unless I keep my eyes are closed.

Last night (or early this morning), at around 1 o clock, I felt myself drifting off to sleep while I was on the comp. I was extremely exhausted, and to my dismay, this would later on cause me to fall asleep unintentionally. Anyways, so I went to get settled in my room and I flipped the t.v. on, and I was laying down in bed watching adult swim, I didn't move my body at all, except for only breathing and blinking my eyes. My progress was arms numbing, twitching, hearing sounds, and mild head sinking feelings in the pillow- ALL WITH MY EYES OPEN. Once I decided I'd close my eyes, the other SP stages were coming at me pretty quickly. That's when I fell asleep accidentally .

I believe the hardest part of WILDing for people is not having the patience to sit there like a rock. So, I encourage the professional WILDers out there to do the usual lying down still method, except focus your attention on something in reality with your eyes open. Once you feel you've gone far enough, close your eyes. Your body should be drifting off to sleep a lot quicker and easier now

I've tried this before (long time ago) because a member mentioned it. Surprisingly, it works quite well.

Although, a better place would be Attaining Lucidity, I think. Maybe a mod could move this?

I think I will have to try it with the TV on because I think it will be easier to fall asleep easier when you're focusing on something instead of looking at just the ceiling or the wall.

That sounds like a good idea but I could never go to sleep in front of the TV maybe the computer.
