      Binarual Beats

There's www.sleepphones.com and they've got some mp3 downloads, one of them being this "To dreams unsettled" thing that's supposed to really damn mess up your dreams.

Anyone made experience with this? I tried it once and it didn't give me that weird dreams.

I've tried brainwave entrainment almost since I started LD'ing. I'm still trying to find a perfect preset. The best I've got so far just bounces between 4 and 6 hz. It's also the one I've been using the longest, so it may be just that I've come to associate it with LD'ing.

I've played with brainwave entrainment as well and cannot sy for certain it's helped my lucid dreaming any. However, it DOES seem to be a good way to fix your intent to have a lucid dream and when used during the day generally helps you succeed at MILD.

      Creepy

I got a pair of those sleepphones. They fit really well and are as comfortable as they look, but I mostly just use the waves beats to help me fall asleep. My significant other snores a little bit. The Dreams Unsettled one is really creepy and it keeps me up and doesn't let me dream.

Okay well tried it last night, and I got a headache from it.

My dreams were a bit on the bizarre side, and vivid. I have n idea whether this is a coincidence or not.

One funny thing i've noticed while lying down in bed and meditating to the "White Crosses" track in I-doser is that, at a certain point into the track I always end up in what can best be described as sleep paralysis. Probably around 15-20 minutes into the track. I haven't actually managed to fall asleep while listening to it though. Not that it's been my intention to either.

I dont think binaural beats has had any impact on my dreams though. I only use them as a meditation aid.

EDIT: Sorry I realized this was a bit off-topic as this isn't about I-doser.

I haven't tried the SleepPhones thing. And I doubt i'd be able to sleep with it somehow.. I really need absolute quietness if i'm to be able to sleep

Yeah, me either, so I just listen to it until I get really sleepy. Then I shut it off and go to sleep. Dunno if this ruins the effect.

I think it's most effective in helping with WILD. I haven't had any success with using it just while sleeping early in the night. I have gotten a few DILDs after giving up the WILD late in the morning. But I might have gotten that anyway.

No lucid dreams. But pretty freaky hypnogogia. Imagine a vibrating line horizontal in your vision. It vibrates to the beat of the track. It starts moving, inching squirming and flowing, along a scene of waterfalls in an evening filled with rain-bearing clouds.

I usually don't fall asleep with headphones on. This is an exception. I should try these tracks again.

Moe, you could also try BWgen. They have a huge preset library that you can download and use.

BWgen is shareware and the trial version won't open downloaded presets, but I'm sharrr ye can warrk around that. If ye know what I mean. Arrr.

Binaural beats have never helped me. They just gave me headaches. :-(

I have those sleepphones and i gotta say it was the best $50 bucks iv ever spent. but about binary beats, they've helped me lucid dream during naps, not so much at night only having minor success, I only tried using them with WBTB on an off for about a week...so I really cant say for sure on there effectiveness for WBTB. But they do very well for me with afternoon naps, course its pretty rare when i do that. I use Hemi-Sync - Lucid Dreaming Series. Its the one that worked the best for me.

I've had some success inducing LDs with binaural beats.
I've had two LDs from using the sound sleeper tracks from hemi sync. It's binaural beats and some commands (Commands in the first track only). I've gotten good rest from them as well. One thing I've really noticed is that I almost been put in SP in under 30 minutes (Each track is 30) if I'm tired while using sound sleeper. It's an audio aid I rate high for sleep induction, but very minor for LD potential.

When I first started, I would always do WBTB with Audio aid use, but I think it didn't help much. With galantamine+ Beats, I've had success a few times though.
The LDs were nothing special, but I was able to look around at will, and move my body a bit in my world.
But I've used it 20 times, and only had two LDs come from it in the beginning. I'm starting to think audio aids fade over time, and you have to mix things up to keep your body from getting used to it.

I like binaural beats. It doesnt put me to sleep but it really does make me relax, helps me meditate, and makes my body feel really heavy, almost like sleep paralysis. Anyway, I've started a binaural beats Lucid Dream MP3 torrent at thepiratebay.org just search "lucid dream mp3" I'm at work right now but ill turn it on and seed all night after 5pm GMT-5.

I used the Lucid Dream I-doser track (they also have an astral projection one that works for LDing as well), and I began to feel vibrations and see colors behind my eyelids while meditating and listening to it. Silence is rather frustrating and distracting to me, so having a simple, pulsing soundtrack that also calms me is really useful.

With the beats you're supposed to match it to your current brainwave and then dial it slowly down to where you want it. So if you're awake when you start, you'll want to start with a higher frequency.

I have tried using the I-doser Binaural Beats, but they are rather unsettling for me to listen to.

I haven't used them to induce lucid dreams but I do use them during meditation. They have really seemed to help with recall and clarity in dreams though.

I've used some from Pure Binural Beats and they weren't all that good; I think he varied the tones to often and did weird effects with them. I've used most of the presets on BWGEN and some were pretty good - inducing mind awak body asleep fairly well, others not so much - annoying sounds. I'm using The Gateway Experience CD's now from Robert Monroe and they have been giving me some real good results. I go into SP really easily and HI is very vibrant. I've only finished 1 CD out of 6, cant wait to get through them all.

I tried that crazy dream beat. The dreams were weird and not what I expected, but nothing major. Not very vivid for me.
