Dreams set exclusively in the dark?

So I was flipping through my dream journal today and I realized something rather startling: virtually all of my dreams are set in a dark/dim backdrop. In fact, I since the 3 or 4 months or so of starting my journal, I don't have a single dream where I'm out in broad day lightlight, the sun etc. In my dreams, for instance, I'd be inside a dimly lit house, carpark, cave, hospital or even if its out in the open it'd be set at night.

Does anyone else experience anything like this?

It's the same with me. I'm sure it's because I sleep at night and know that it's dark in reality.
