Dreams from when I was young

Is it normal to recall some dreams very vividly from when you were young? For example, I remember one dream when I must have been like 6 or 7, I was in school and I was peeing in the sink in the bathroom. Someone came in and I got real embarrassed. I remember for the longest time at school I would feel shameful because it seemed like everyone knew about it, lol.

So yeah, does anyone else do this? Is it normal? I just remember a select few, but they don't seem to have any significance to why I would remember them over any others I could have had back then.

if I was reminded of them, i could probably remember many details about dreams I had when I was younger. When I am reminded somehow of a dream I've had even years before I can usually remember them as if they were something I'd dreamt last night.

not sure how common it is to remember dreams from a long time ago, but... it's not like it's anything that can't happen

I recall lots of dreams from when I was young; thing is, I think they're all nightmares, so maybe that's why they're memorable. (I have nightmares only rarely nowadays.)

I'd assume it's not unusual to recall childhood dreams. If the dream made enough of an impression when one had it, why not remember it, no matter what the age?

Unless of course you mean you were thinking one day and then all of a sudden a dream you had when you were little, but had completely forgotten about, pops into your mind...then no, that has never happened to me. Wish it would sometimes, though.

I can recall a few dreams from childhood. Lately though I've noticed a new phenomenon where in the middle of the day I'll just get a whiff of a dream and not be able to tell if the dream occurred the night before or many years ago.
