Thread: Very frightening dream!

to be honest i'm not quite sure if this was even a dream or not but whatever it was it felt very real. this dream actually took place nearly a year ago, but i can remember it as clear as day. we had just moved into a new apartment and the apartment was quite nice. i liked the place and enjoyed my time while we lived there.

however maybe 4-5 months after moving there i put my head down one night to sleep. my sister and my grandmother were sleeping in there own room, as they both shared a room. i had the 2nd bedroom to myself.

so i fall asleep and i remember having this dream about a man who didnt have any real features. it was just a black figure but in the rough shape of a man standing about 5 feet from my bed just staring at me. next thing i know i'm running out of my room and into my grandmothers room screaming that theres a man in my room.

i have no idea why i ended up running into my grandmothers room screaming but i did and myself my sister and my grandmother checked the house and there was nobody in it. everything was locked and nothing was out of the ordinary.

yet the odd thing is i dont remember having to actually wake up to run into my grandmothers room. its as if i was already wake? yet i can remember falling asleep earlier in the night.

the figure was just a black kinna greyish/blackish man but with no features. i couldnt see any eyes or nose or ears or clothing.
we ended up moving 3 months later only because the landlord was raising the rent but this dream always stuck with me.
any idea what this dream was all about and why it felt so incredibly real.

and just to make sure i wasnt still dreaming when i ran into my grandmothers room i asked my grandmother the next morning if she remembers me running into her room screaming and she said yes.
