Thread: Death in your dream?

Yes i have died a few times,,, and laterly have had a recurring dream in which i am murdered by the same person. She is a young girl with short cropped hair who takes offence at my long hair and kills me because of it!!

She has strangled me with my own tresses and also stabbed me to death,, bit freaky,,, but hey i've never disintergrated!

Well at least 1 or 2 times I guess.

I don't remember the full dream, but in the end I was being chased by someone who wanted to stab me(it was an old lady ^^). I don't know if was all the time it just changed somewhere in between but the end was third person where I ran around a corner and couldn't see myself anymore, I then just heard a scream and the dream was over

I've not been able to die in my dreams.
I run away, or escape the threat.
I can't be hurt, but I can't hurt others either..

Once I'm at the point of dying, like being thrown off a cliff and almost hitting the ground. I wake up.

I always wake up before I die. I assume that the resulting action that occurred right before I woke up "killed me", however I never actually experience being dead in a dream.

I've had dreams of dying, I drowned in 2 of them. I remember the feeling like I couldn't breathe being very real.. but maybe I really couldn't. I woke up after I died and I could breathe and was fine. Then I had a dream I was falling off a building and it was a long way down. I saw the sidewalk below me and watched. I wasn't afraid, but I knew I was going to die. I finally hit the bottom and felt an impact, but it wasn't painful. Everything went dark and I woke up.

I had a dream where I was a ghost too. Everyone was coming to my funeral, and I found my mom she had decapitated herself. That image burned into my head and left me sobbing for a long time after.

I don't have death dreams anymore, but I used to have a lot of them. Been hacked to death by a monster/psychopath, fallen off a cliff, drowned, sucked up by a tornado, died of Ebola, poisoned, falling into a black hall and killed myself countless times in a dream. Before you start calling me a depressed suicidal, I only killed myself in those dreams to save myself from school, or an even worse death.

A couple times. I remember two rather distinctly. Once I went into another person's body and died in it. I was stabbed through the stomach and it felt warm and the warmth spread and then the dream ended or faded to black, as far as I recall. It seems like I had the realization that I was dieing before it ended, but I can't say for sure since I was a kid at the time and that was so long ago, maybe I just imagined I thought those words. Another time I thought I was murdered, and this time I was myself, BUT I didn't see it happen. I had ran into a store to escape the guy. The next thing I know I realize I'm dead. I know how it happened, but I don't remember the dieing. I also had a dream in which I thought I was dead already, but was stuck in my body.
