      Lady of Clay

I had a dream about a woman I made of clay. I patched together her body out of different chunks of clay and sculpted her face.
Her face was the most beautiful face I'd ever seen, it was rounded and smooth yet the bone structure is delicate and defined.
And features I guess had some resemblance to Jessica Alba's but mostly in the nose and lips. Her eyes were big, kind, and loving.
Her hair was flowing and had slight waves to it. I say Jessica Alba, because that's the closest I could say to her looks,
but I had never seen her before.

I was working at a clay figurine stand, and while I was getting ready to come back to it, she came alive. She was still made of clay,
but she moved and talked. Her personality was happy and sweet, also she knew how to talk and everything. I was amazed that she was alive,
but I was extremely excited and happy about it.

I had to hide her because I was at my work. So I stashed her in a large cabinet like thing. She had this ability to crumble to tiny pieces,
move them around and rebuild herself exactly as she was. That's how I got her in. I came back to the stand and my boss came
and scolded me for not keeping it clean. He was a little man, round, and maybe Italian or something with a big nose.
I began to organize the figurines and he quickly stopped me and told me to clean the clay pieces and dust around the place.
I remembered in my dream that he never would let me organize the figurines and I wondered why.

He soon left and I went back to her. I told her to stay and that I'll bring her some clothes. I went and got her these
long tight dark grey stockings, blue slipper like shoes, a matching blue summer dress with little white flowers on it,
a leather belt with a big square buckle, a cream yellow tiny jacket, and a cream yellow farmer hat with a purple ribbon on it.
She looked so darling in it I hugged her.

Well as the dream went on I noticed her changing more and more human, because I began to notice as she did her crumble ability
later on that she would have human bones in her, like rib bones or something. Also I began to have more feelings for her, like I was
      falling in love with her.

This isn't the whole dream, as there was alot more, but I feel this is most of the important parts. But I'll tell you that this is the
second time I've dreamed this dream. And when I think of the dream I feel a sense of longing or distance from her. Somewhat like I wish
I could dream it again to be near her. LOL

One thing I notice is that I dreamed her characteristics in so much detail! Most dreams I have have people I know, or I don't remember their faces.
Also I'm 19 and I'm an artist, I mostly draw but I've done some clay work before.

Sorry I feel alittle stupid for feeling like this for a clay woman I dreamed about.
But I'd like to see what people think of it.
Also if you want me to tell the whole dream then ask, but I didn't want to bore anyone.

      Sounds incredible!

According to my dream dictionary, to see or work with clay in your dream, represents creativity and the ability to shape your mind (which would be accurate because you are an artist!). It may also mean that you are able to manipulate things to your advantage. Alternatively, it indicates your need to set some goals and plans for yourself. You have some growing up to do and need to plan for the future.

My first instinct when I read about your dream (and this will sound silly) is that I imagined you as God, creating your Eve...

Wow, I wish my dreams were that awesome!^_^ I'm no expert on interpretations (I can barely remember enough of my own to interpret them yet ) but it reminds me a lot of the story of Pygmalion and Galatea from greek mythology, Pygmalion was an artist who made a sculpture of a woman and fell in love with her, and he prayed to Aphrodite and she brought the statue to life for him, and they lived happily ever after. (If there's more to the story I've forgotten it
x.x) Thank you for sharing though!

I heard of that story. I wonder if it has anything to do with my dream.

Funny you say that, though I now can see how it could feel like that. But I didn't feel any kind of power as I made her. I mostly felt intense passion. Passion for the art, and passion for her beauty.

It's funny, I still feel a bit of longing when I think about it even though it's been so long.
