Project: Visualizing Dreams

I'm really not sure where to post this, I'm a real newbie here :roll:, but for the past week or so I've been keeping a dream journal and writing down my dreams. This is all fine and good, but some images in my dream are so vivid or beautiful that I want to remember them by drawing them or otherwise fleshing them out visually, so I do that sometimes.

Last night I had one dream where I went inside this magical area of my mind that was like a huge iPod touch library filling up my whole field of vision, not just in a small electronic screen. Instead of flipping through music, though, I was flipping through movie titles, and not with my finger but with my brain. I wanted to watch Amadeus and I flipped through the movies in alphabetical order. It was really pretty and fun. I haven't been able to get over how I wanted to keep that kind of image in my head, so I worked on this just now using Photoshop and 3d Studio Max (for the movie titles):

No one else may be able to tell but me, but this is actually pretty damn close to what it really looked like in my dream. I'm proud of it. I might do some more of these visualizations in the future.

that's pretty neat. I wish i was skilled in recreating what i saw in my dreams. last night i was winston church hill. i had a sniper rifle, and was in some sort of 1 roomed school house. i was aiming out the door. people were trying to capture me, at one point i got a headshot on a old lady. (hey, she had a gun!)

i think that would of been a sweet picture.

I really wish I was at least a little artistic, because I'm horrible at descirbing what I see in dreams. Dreams can be so beautiful. I wish I could just record them visualy somehow.

Great work! I, too, wish I had better art skills to draw out my dreams. The things we see in our dreams are just... jawdropping sometimes. :eek:
