Hazy Field

I was wondering whether anyone came across a sort of hazy area perhaps what one might call a hazy field, in your dreams and what you think it could mean, if anything possibly in the context of shared dreams but not just in that context...
I mean the dream itself is clear but a particular region in the dreamscape was 'hazy' as if it was not from my own dream (hope this makes sense)..

I've experienced hazy areas in a dream I would liken it to a online game or something where it only loads part of the level and if you get to another area to fast you won't be able to see the next area clearly until it loads.

I don't know the cause of this, but I have experienced it.
