      dream patterns

I thought that I didn't have any pattern in my dreams, no returning dreams or other stuff but I have finally found one big similarity with all my other dreams. important motives are mish-mashed versions of the motives in reality.

ex1: two days ago I dreamed about a teacher who was in his midlife crisis and who acted like an old pervert. The teacher is a real teacher on my school but he's not a pervert, he's a short, funny guy. But we do have an old perverted teacher with a completely similar personality as the short teacher had in my dream so his personality was projected into the other teacher. This personality was completely the same, the teacher in my dream even had the same favorite pupil.

ex2: This night I went to a café where I sometimes go and in my dream it had the name 'petrol' which is a club in Antwerp where I once went. The locations were completely mish-mashed, the front area was the café and the vip area was another club in Antwerp. When I came back later, the club looked like the barber where I get my hair cut.

Are there other people who see this kind of stuff in their dreams? I think it's really cool, the absurdity of this.

I know what you mean. I have had the same person change their appearance in a dream, but the whole time it was the same person. He was an average guy, and then a chainsaw weilding psycho, and then a baby. But it was the same soul. It was weird.
