watching tv or playing a videogame in a dream

It's really cool, if I watch tv in a dream (or play a game) I get sucked into the screen, not visibly sucked but I suddenly find myself in the television, in the show's world without remembering I sat in a couch a few minutes earlier. I only remember that I was watching first when I wake up.

This only doesn't happen in vivid dreams.

In the most vague dreams I even get sucked into my thoughts like this, I think of someplace and suddenly I'm there without remembering I wasn't there before.

Yeah. I love that. It seems to happen to me for any kind of dream though. I guess it does seem more common for non-vivid dreams though.

I think it's cool because you seem to have the natural ability to teleport which I wish I have. Last night I was dreaming of being in a huge mall trying to find the movie theater so I could get a job there? Yeah it was weird but every time I tried to get there by foot it became impossible it was miles and miles away and there would be no stairs and the escolaters were freaky looking and flat and shiny. It got so ridiculous that it had to have my minds way of saying - "do something about it, at least become lucid" I didn't. I think I was very tired last night. But it's cool that you do it with out even trying.

I do these things all the time, also in vivid dreams.

It's just the fact that you watch and get more and more involved, upto the point where you are in the game or the programme.
I can snap out of them too, the things then change to normal again.

Whenever I play video games in dreams I end up being a character in the dream, but still think we're just playing.

In the past couple of months I had one where I was playing Halo with my brother and some other people. It developed into me and a bunch of spartans, who had the personalities of these people. We were running around, shooting each other, jumping through portals and teleporting all over the place. I never realized that we were doing more than just playing the game, and it was pretty damn fun! Just like playing laser tag when I was younger, but way more intense with all the teleporters

When I woke up I was very surprised at how vivid and stable the dream was. You'd think with the running, jumping, rolling, teleporting, and shooting/being shot I'd have woken up. It did go into a weird 3rd person view a few times and I could see the whole 'map' (actually now that I think of it I should draw it out), but besides that it was first person and very cool. And, like you said, it just suddenly went into the first person.

Many times I attempt to call people in my dreams, with varying success
And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.
