I can't record my dreams
Whenever I wake up it's just too much effort to get to my bedside and write it down. I remember too much.
Sometimes I get up, start writing it down and then realise that I'm still in bed and I haven't moved.
Sometimes I'm thinking about the dream I just had and I start dreaming the same dream all over again, just a little bit different.
It makes me feel like crap and gets me to sleep in for an ungodly amount of time.
What can I do? :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Well here is what I have been doing. I wake up and think about my dream from a few min and walk to my bathroom still thinking about it and take my morning piss and walk back into my room and start writing. By then I have thought about it enough and i'm awake enough to write.

Are you currently depressed, sick or extra-stressed out?
My dream recall sucks at this present time because of events in my life. I don't want to be bothered by thinking about my dreams or recording them after I wake up. But I, too, often find myself oversleeping just to prolong the enjoyment of the dream. For me, dreaming is a form of escape from the stresses of life.
So, are you currently trying to escape from something in your life (if only on a subconscious level)?
If you are, try to pinpoint the source of the stress and work towards easing it (easier said than done, I know).
If that's totally NOT what you're going through... are you a growing young man with an extra busy schedule? Perhaps you just need the extra sleep.
If it's sheer "laziness", ask yourself why recording your dreams is so important. Maybe it's not really your cup of tea and is more of a chore than a joy. If you REALLY enjoy keeping a dream log but simply cannot force yourself out of bed for whatever reason, perhaps you could buy a $10. cassette player. You could keep it under your pillow or on a bedside table and speak what you remember with the push of two buttons. If you just want a personal record of your dreams, write the dates on them and store them. If you want to share them and have the motivation/energy to do so, you can simply transcribe the ones you really like to DV (or elsewhere).

Try writing down key words. That's what I do, and it's SO much eaiser than writing full, complete sentences. :woohoo:
