Anyway I have a question. How is everyone's eyesite in dreams? If you wear glasses/contacts in real life do you wear them in your dreams? Have you ever noticed?
I always see better in dreams than I do in real life. In fact, that's one quick reality check. But usually I see things differently in dreams, depends on the dream. Sometimes colors all have different sensations, as though maybe I was seeing infrared or ultraviolet. And a lot of times I have kind of a more wrap around vision, showing me a wider view but with less dependable depth perception.
I ask because early this morning I had a dream in which someone was coming into my kitchen via the backdoor and I couldn't see who it was because my eyesite was so horrible. I mean, it really is horrible in real life and I wear glasses. In my dream I asked the person who they were because I didn't have my glasses on, and I didn't want to run and get them because I was naked and the person was a guy.
So, anyone can explain that?
Your dream eyesight copied your real eyesight? Lucidly you should be able to make your dream eyesight improve just by telling it to, as long as you can imagine it being better.
Also, how is volume? I ask because in several dreams when I'm in a bad situation or something and I try to yell or speak louder my voice remains very quiet and soft. In real life I am quite soft spoken but I mean, I DO have the ability to yell. What's the deal?
Thanks all.
Your dream might be copying reality, I think I read once that when we are asleep our voices are hindered by the same sleep paralysis which effects the rest of the body. The solution I found was to focus on having a dream voice seperate from my real voice.
Before that, I was having trouble talking in dreams too. And when I did manage to talk, every word tended to have magical-spell-like powers, and did strange things like ripping holes in the sky.
