Was I about to enter a dream?

When I was going to sleep I was thinking over and over again about LD and having a LD. I wasin my bed for quite a while because I couldn't sleep because of the insane heat wave.

When I was laying in my bed for a white with my eyes closed I could suddently look around me and I saw this amusement part suddently something I feel something coming closer to my eye and I could feel it on my eye. I startle myself and open my eyes and my body just jumps in my bed really fast and I take my hand over my eye. It didn't really felt like I had slept at all and when I looked at my clock much time hadn't passed.

Was I entering a dream? Did I witness the making of a dream? Or could it have been just a very vivid day dream?

Me and my friend class LDs into 2 types of experience..
a Lucid vignette
and a full blown lucid dream

IN a Lucid vignette, you can actually look at things, see pictures, stuff moves about by itself
BUT
you are not IN it ... you're just LOOKING at it

whereas
a Lucid dream involve immersion and situatedness.
what does all that mean ?
Well, you're IN IT walking about (or flying or whatever)
and the environment is 3D, immersive and you're interacting with it.
Interacting can be as boring as just standing there watching everything go on about you.

Pity you were brought back so suddenly ...

oh, fyi .... you were close to entering a Lucid Dream ..

Thanks, I was thinking something similar.

But the wierd thing was that I was not in a SP.

Maybe I should try to WILD.
