constantly running towards or away from something

in most of my dreams im running towards or away from something
i remember running...
away from a giant black lion in an underground complex
away from a giant black lion in a mall under construction
away from zombies on a bridge
away from zombies in a city
away from zombies in a school
away from androids in a futuristic computer run city
towards class in a massive school for the rich
towards class after a school project
towards class from the deepest regions of that schools basement to its top floor with only six minutes
towards an old friend in that very school

and that's just to name a few
and also i have never been in any of these places yet they keep being the scenes for the dream
the people i interact with seems random as some i do know and some i have never met

any explanations
