Dream behaviour response to outside light cue idea...lucid dreaming or something else?

Hi, I am using a light which is an external cue or stimulus and try and interact with the stimulus while within the dream. The particular preplanned action to be done in the dream is in reaction to the light when I recognize it as the light I fixed. It is the same function as the dream mask cue but to use it as a way to do things in the dream isn't lucid dreaming but something else I think...:P. Directed dreaming or recognition induced dream control?....:D.
