Early Morning Dreams
I had some time before leaving for school today so I took about a 30 minute nap after taking a shower/getting dressed/playing a few games etc. I set my alarm and fell asleep no problem.
I feel like I've had more dreams during this one nap than I have since the beginning of the year! I can also remember most of them easily, which is odd for me. I also feel like it'd take more than 30 minutes to dream it all again. Well, I guess the few false-ish awakenings had something to do with that on top of the few times I did actually open my eyes (Or did i?). It was getting to the point where I couldn't tell if I was still dreaming or not. Needless to say, I was kinda sad when my alarm finally got me up.
Lets just say I'm still tired while I write this and could probably easily have many more similar half-lucid dreams, however I'd like to ask if this has happened to anyone else. I've been trying to get back into lucid dreaming since about August and had a hard time recalling much of anything making that very difficult. I'll have to start waking up earlier and more often; this was an amazing experience for me, despite the dreams content. The next best thing of course would be a full blown lucid.
P.S: Is it just me or do we do some bad things in our dreams sometimes?

Well, I haven't had quite the experience you describe there, but I know that when I'm asleep in the morning (meaning anytime between midnight and noon) I tend to have better dream recall and more vivid dreams. If you were having false awakenings and a bunch of easily recalled dreams, then I'd say sleep in the mornings is what'll work for you if you're looking to get back into lucid dreaming. :) Good luck!
And yes, we do sometimes do bad things in our dreams. Sometimes.

So I wake up earlier than I normally to do some homework but I was way too tired and just decided to fall back asleep (~6 AM).
The same thing happened again (Only this time the dreams were actually interesting, not disturbing).
Waking up about an hour later I felt like I had an hours worth of easily recalled dreams. :D They included things such as fighting a group of people and winning (Throwing a real punch too; not some half-ass, wimpy tap on the cheek. I've never been able to do that), run for my life from a rock slide, play a few old games I haven't touched in years, meeting someone new, waking up, and having something explode in my hands, pretty much killing me. That was something different...
I even managed to become lucid during the false-awakening I had, only it didn't last long at all due to no other dream-scape forming when I fell through my bed. Or maybe I was just too excited when I remembered wth I wanted to do. Oh well, it's a start.
Something about waking up, even for just a second, relatively early in the mornings seems to trigger these dreams for me. Sleeping straight through the nights doesn't seem to do it. I guess now I'll have to wake up earlier and earlier until I find the start of that REM cycle so I can use it to WILD.

Yes, my dreams are more easily recalled on nights where I don't sleep soundly through the night and into the morning. My sleeping has to come in segments for me to have good recall, and subsequently have a chance of having a lucid dream. I recommend doing whatever you can to segment your sleep time, while matching it up with your regular sleep cycle so you're not depriving yourself of sleep.

If I wake up early one school morning and decide I'm not feeling well, I'll fall back asleep about 30 minutes later. From here, I always have vivid (and sometimes lucid) dreams that outstand the others I had overnight. Very incredible, to say the least.

I usually wake up half an hour to an hour before my alarm goes off for some reason (dont ask me why, my internal clock is all messed up) and when i do this, sometimes i have a dream in that small period of time up until my alarm. The dreams feel like they go on for ages, yet its only 20 minutes or so.
