      Dream reaction IRL!

      Hi all,
Wondering if anyone had this kind of experience before. In my dream, two nights ago, I walked into an open kitchen cabinet and bumped my head. I ended up waking up right now and the reaction continued with my head rising up and back down hitting my pillow It was quite interesting

That's weird. I've had similar things happen, where I've kept acting out the dream for a few seconds after I woke up. I know my girlfriend was doing this the other day. She was dreaming that our dog was in bed with us. She woke up, sat up in bed, and was moving her arms like she was petting the dog. Weird weird weird.

It is quite interesting. Funny enough, I just remember this happened which is why I decided to make this thread. That would have been interesting to see as well. I am still wondering how come SP didn't kick in? Probably because it was a quick reaction, a jerk which broke it

There seems to be a crossover point when you first wake up, where the dream can continue for a few seconds. People often see lingering dream imagery, feel lingering dream pain, ect. Spooky how easily we can be fooled.

True indeed. Anyone else experienced something like this?

I had times where I would be in a dream and then I would wake and start saying stuff from the dream....and then realize I'm awake.

      Kinda weird feeling.

I'm somewhat afraid of spiders in real life. One time I had a dream where I walked into a spider web, and there were spiders crawling all over me.

I woke up frantically brushing my arm to get the spiders off. lol

I also had a dream one time where I was getting stung by bees. For a second after waking up, I could still feel the bees swarming me and stinging me.

Same as Dash! I woke up once and saw a spider on my curtain, but it was only in the dream I'd had.

Also woke up once freaking out and batting at myself because I thought there were ants crawling all over me. Just in the dream, whew!

Once I actually slept walked a dream. Walked over, grabbed a pair of sweats from my laundry basket, set them on the bed and went back to sleep. I think I thought they were some other item, haha.

Have had a few other experiences as well but can't remember them at the moment.

When I was a little kid I slept in the hallway because it was too hot in my room. So when I was sleeping I had a dream my brother hit me in the nose with like a small hard object.
I woke up hitting my nose against the wall. It bled.

A few years ago I was experimenting with dreams and I tried a WILD. I remember clearly having slipped into a dream in which a good friend of mine at the time hit me with a kind of bat or large branch. I woke up instantly like I was really hit in the chest and it hurt for like a second.
