      Realistic Dreams

Tonight I had a really strange dream in the way that it was not strange at all and I remembered these forums, so I thought I'd take a look. Nice to see it's still going strong around here.

The dream I had was like just a normal day in my life, it was just like it. It wasn't random and messed up as dreams usually are, everything was perfectly logical and everyone behaved like the normally would. It was just a day in my life with absolutely nothing out of the ordinary.
Has that ever happened to you, have you ever had a dream that was perfectly logical and just like life itself in any smallest aspect?

I too often wake up with memories of a perfectly logical and normal day. I call dreams like these "Yesterday".

Perhaps it was easy for you to tell your experience was a dream because your regular daily life is in no way logical or perfectly normal?

I'm not much of a dreamer (i'm working on it), but awhile ago I had a super vivid and realistic "false awakening" dream -- well, it was realistic until my cat tackled me to the floor.

Sometimes, the "frame" of the dream is very realistic, like, I'm in school or something and am talking with friends, something in the hallways, or in class. But, more often then not, the actual plot is not realistic, it wouldn't happen, though it is school, or whatever 'n' all. So, not really . Certainly not like you're describing!
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

Heh, all of my dreams start like that, a normal day happening and... thats all unless I become lucid.

Isn't it possible that your mind just thinks it was perfectly normal?

Anyways, assuming it's not that my mind thinks it's perfectly normal, my dreams usually are often like life... Except for the occasional zombie apocalypse type dream, it kind of replicates life.
