Nope, it's a pet!

When these Mountain Dew drinks were released, Blizzard released an in-game pet, for free. All you had to do was sign up for the promo on the Mountain Dew website.

In the US, you could earn tokens for other things, but internationally, you could just sign in every day and send yourself some free red or blue fuel(another in-game item). The fuel gets poured into the warbot pet. Like colours will help each other in a fight against opposite colours. The pet warbots duke it out by zapping coloured electricity at each other.

It helped pass the time between raid wipes...
