Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

Lucid. My parents were playing music at 5 AM and I realized it was a dream.

While in a group channel on Skype, everyone decided to get jackc45 a present and I was supposed to chip in. I didn't want to at first because I JUST got my tax refund, but I did anyway.

I almost drowned my dream!son for "being stupid".

-There was a guy who found out a girl was a werewolf and he tried to run while she/I shifted
-My mom died
-My mom died again
-Really had to pee and discovered the university made all the seats in a lecture hall into toilets, no walls to be seen, and everyone was sitting down doing their business
-Learning Krav Maga from my old neighbor, but went away and my brother taught me

Ugh this damn philosophy teacher doesn't stop bothering me even in dreams.

Nice night, great recall, fun dreams, way to break the dry spell!

1) (lucid) walking around in a big house, saw a guy I don't see any more who didn't belong there, got lucid, flew [first lucid flight!] from the 2nd floor down to the first floor superman style doing a barrel roll and whooping, lost lucidity and encountered a bossy boy who was telling me how to fly and who could fly himself which surprised me

2) in a company cafeteria, I'm happy that I returned to that company, it was terrible working at (other company), my friends call me over saying they have deli food, there are lots of things to eat like huge pieces of pizza packed with pepperoni and cheese hanging way down over the plate, I take a piece and think I should have taken more.

3) outside among suburban houses, watching an older middle-aged couple sliding down a roof across the street, I point this out to my friend and say "this will be a train wreck", the man makes it down, then the woman, I run back to our stuff thinking they might steal it, and they've pulled a prank on us rearranging all the lids of our containers and generally moving things around

4) walking by a big chalkboard where I want to (do something?) knocking into a person nearby, I think they're going to put on a clown show for some kids instead

6) see an old colleague and think we should go play tennis

7) walking through house empty of furniture I see carpet stains, I think I could make out with the woman who lives there, and also have an encounter with her daughter.

8) flying/gliding very high over city lights far below from hills far above, I have a beautiful view of the city below, I realize before I go too far that if I glide down to the city then I will have left my truck behind in the hills, I pull a big wide U-turn and fly back to find my truck.

9) Outside somewhere, someone says to go to "McGruber's cabin", I climb up by an old wooden cabin up a hill, squeeze through a fence, and enter, it's like a clubhouse, people are everywhere, they're carrying plates of sausages.

10) approaching a mansion, I replay this a few times like a game, first time there are too many dogs in the way, second time I encounter just one dog who wants to chase a tennis ball on the ground, I try to enter the house through the garage door, there's a ragged hole in the garage door to the left, I push my way through, the first time I enter no one is there, second time the woman owner is taking care of her mother in a chair, I walk past them pretending like I belong, see out to the back yard, there's a party going on, I go there, find a group of 3 cute girls, suggest they should "pay me some attention," (not my exact words, they look shocked, heh), when they're reticent, I use lucid-like DC "mind control" saying "you WANT this", when one is coming closer I wake up in an adrenaline rush. Almost lucid, I had to think for a while if I was lucid or not after waking.

-Playing a game like Heroscape with Reese's Cups, opponent got pissed and ate my piece
-Grandmother yelling at me because our dog was one pound underweight
-Up on a snowy mountain getting massive vertigo while everyone else says vertigo isn't real
-Playing a game in a castle where our enemy set tons of tripwire traps, and the staff gives us all a massive tub of cinnamon butter

- Meeting up with friends and laughing about audio recordings of some guys angry outbursts.
- Fighting a bunch of ghosts, some flying rooms and then the ghosts again.

I had a dream that it was Halloween. WTF?

1. I dreamt I was having a heart attack, and felt a sharp pain in my chest until the dream ended.

2. I ordered a glass of blood from my school cafeteria, which tasted great; I then tried a diluted variant, but it didn't taste nearly as good.

- I was assigned to put different sets of clothing from a bag to 10 different beds in a big bedroom.

- A late-night talkshow about basketball.

-My iphone updated itself to ios7 without my consent
-In ancient times, I drowned a guy who was spying on me
-I was a barbarian (which was pretty awesome)

Last night was bloody as hell.

1. A girl was playing with a cat, then she fell and when she got up her face was somehow demonic. Using some sort of magic she nailed the cat to the wall and cut it in a half.
2. I was walking through some city when I entered a cathedral. A trap was set and its mechanism activated when someone tattoed a symbol on the body of a guy. That person put the guy in the trap and when he moved the trap recognized the symbol and killed him with spikes. FBI was shocked.

Now in a nap:

1. Lots. Lots of weed.
2. Alien themed. Kind of funny but I don't remember why anymore. I realized it was a dream and got lucid, but only for a few seconds, which I used to take off with an alien ship. Then the dream collapsed and I was in a black limbo, but full of gleaming points.
3. My spanish teacher was complaining about me skipping hours.

Both non-lucid:

1. I'm a Russian astrophysicist that the government wants to assassinate, so they slip poison into my spruce beer before arresting me; I get the last laugh by convincing the lead officer to have a refreshing sip from my flask.
2. The planet has been nearly depopulated of humans, dinosaurs are back, and I'm pregnant; I don't want a child being born into this world, so I drink a potion to induce a miscarriage, but then spit it out at the last minute.

A giant whale who was being controlled by Voldemort, jumped up alongside a bridge over the ocean, and was trying to lap up a couple people on the bridge with it's enormous tongue.

+ my right foot was stuck in the mouth of a walrus

+ (long one!) my search for my former colleague AG at some company led me through a golf driving range, creepy dark underground claustrophobic pipes/rooms, an Indian restaurant where I was the only customer (I left and returned immediately and the waiter had removed all the tables in the room, "wow he's fast!" I thought), a dangerous equipment testing ground (run by AG's group, his group is playing a prank on me leading me around on a hunt to find them) where they burn the equipment at high temperature (I want to get out of there fast), an encounter with a creepy but buxom and sexy succubus doing her best to tempt me into her lair (it was close but her B/O turned me off as I got close, I took control then and asked what her story was, it turned out she had been badly burned), attempting to escape the island in a car via the only road out past corrupt police in the pay of the company, climbing over glass backyard fences, and finishing at a beautiful sea-side scene where I thought I saw a manatee by the water but it turned out to be a palm trunk, and where I had outsmarted some mid-level drug dealers landing in a boat and battled hand (me) versus knife (him) with their leader, falling through a glass ceiling and crying blood tears (falling down in front of me) in order to protect our eyes.

late morning BTB:

+ in a house with some friends, having cocktails before bed, joining a middle-aged woman in a robe heading to the living room, "why not, as long as there are snacks" I say, I'll have a cocktail or two, the snacks might be dim-sum, there's not much left.

+ there was a halloween celebration, some adults, some kids, I think about shooting something into a basket hanging from the ceiling like basketball, I don't as it might break the baskets, I think it would be rude to seduce the daughter of my hosts after they've shown me such hospitality, I just flirt with her lightly.

+ someone sees a picture I'm holding including a high school friend (real one), they tell me he has become a University professor, I ask "in Chemistry?" they say yes, I find that a false memory friend ("Andy Grove") has become a professor in Computer Science, I visit his office and see his nameplate, people are complaining that new office equipment required them to throw out all old, incompatible equipment and replace it with new, compatible equipment, I see someone taking away an armload of the old equipment.

+ sitting next to a man at a restaurant at his table, there are lots of open tables nearby, I'm thinking something about this man, I think I visited his table before.

+ a recliner bed had been broken /burned. I witnessed the burn up close lying on the ground, there was small smoke/fire, I see two thin black horizontal burn marks running the entire front of the bed/couch, we go looking for the maintenance guy, we find him holding garden shears (golden?), he comes and fixes it by putting in a long 2x4, the bed used to recline individually half-and-half but now with the long board in it it will only recline as a whole unit.

A group of people tried to smother me with kindness in order to continue their own ends, while I met a monstrous person that ate other people and wanted to help me find my own freedom, possibly for his own ends.

A friend of mine and doge were laughing at me.

I kept having to save King Kong from the skyscraper again and again and again.

Collapse of civilization and I pepper spray a woman in the face

+ I'm a student in highschool class (literature?), the teacher beats the crap out of a student to my right who was not paying attention, he screams at another student who was reading for another class, and he criticizes the reading style of another, I move to stop the initial beating but the teacher stops, I follow attentively along with the reading after that

+ some police cars are zipping by down the street, and one moving about 150MPH blazes by

+ some people are moving in to a house they've bought, the workpeople are saying it needs more work, they're doing the work, the woman buyer says "I hope you didn't take out the roses," and the guy said yes they had to.

later morning:

+ in a restaurant, I see a childhood friend a few tables away against a wall, I call out to him and ask him if he remembers my name, he remembers first but not last, I quiz him about me and he gives joke answers and everybody laughs, I realize he doesn't remember much about me, I see a dachshund put its front legs up on a table and take a drink through a straw of someone's iced tea, I think this is hilarioius, then my friend messes with my food and knocks my burrito onto the seat, I don't want to eat it "because that's where all the skanky ho's sit!", my friend is laughing uproariously

+ I see a large intricate piece of automated machinery, lots of circuit boards, I see the wires, it's making smooth movements placing lenses in front of cameras, I wonder if the arms could move faster

+ lying in a shallow pond, I see crayfish in the water, I reach to touch one, I see and feel springs of cold water, a deer nuzzles me, then 2 baby cows are nuzzling my face with their noses, I see a big jet-black plastic-looking bull with meter-long curved horns, I think if he charges me I'm a goner, I stand up with my sword, but he doesn't charge me

+ I'm eating a thin steak at an expensive steak restaurant, it is brown on the outside, pink on the inside, and a jet-black ribbon runs around the outside of the steak like a piece of sushi, a narrator voice says something like protect your investment, don't use a butter knife to cut your steak (or it could fall on the ground) something arrives in a limousine (steak knives?).

-I get kind of aroused, partially shift into a wolf, and almost bite out a girl's throat
-Something about evil fairies taking over people's bodies
-Being forced to take some stupid giant high school test and bubbling in random answers and throwing the pages everywhere
-I'm an abused son and my sisters convince me to run away, so I do but pass out and find myself giving the man blood when I wake up
