Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

I was in a charity boxing match against Evander Holyfield's son, and a bunch of friends and family were there to cheer me on, but our fight was delayed due to sound and light problems in the arena, and I woke up before actually fighting.

I was sent to Jurassic Park to run their tours (sadly not a LD).

Way too late to bed, not my fault! Man this irregular schedule is seriously messing up my dreaming. Also, getting sick.

+ At my grandparents' house when they were first moving in (when they were young), running circles around the house in the yard (and messing up the grass), saying how much they're going to enjoy the view and the garden in the years to come

+ Help some guy clean out his yard, afterwards we enjoy all the extra space and they hold a big yard party (I'm standing underneath a large play structure and it's raining?)

+(f) ex-GF KS has totally gray hair!

+ (vivid, present, detailed) trying to get somewhere in car with wife, sort of lost, all the road options to turn onto are too small, steep, and full of obstacles like: the roadways to the side are paths with thick pipes instead of pavement [the street name is something like "Istouri"], our minivan will certainly fall off, we need to get to the road around the lake I say, I take out the GPS but it indicates its network credit is empty so it will only partially operate, but it seems to fully operate and the map starts to show useful detail eventually; we arrive at favorite beach at the mountain lake, with friends, the husband is a whiny baby complaining about everything, I say "look at the clear blue sky! The mountains! [I see them]", I write a journal entry about how annoying the man is using abbreviations for their names but can't publish it because they'll recognize themselves, hills covered in snow, whiny husband asks "is this snow!?" I say yes he does a full body dive into the snow but it turns out its bubbles, I say "ah that's certainly snow over there" and it looks like it is; in an inn room, the wife is saying they don't have enough individual fans to cover everybody

Playing soccer with some friends, wearing the wrong jersey both in the first and second half (after changing jersey at half time). Missed two good opportunities to score and the ball was not really round nor did it bounce very well (Dream Sign anyone??!!).

+(f) parking lot of fast food restaurant?, finding a large enough bag from the ground/garbage to put leftovers in?, My dad's there?

+ playing a game of pool, making some amazing shots at the table, trying not to scratch while shooting the 8, shot replays a few times until I can get it right, growing the membership of a billiards club that I've created in a bar/club, there are so many players now but only one table in the club

+ (long, vivid, present) camping with the boy scouts, some guy preps my sleeping bag, but as I drag it up the hill it enters the water and gets very wet, choosing a site on dirt among large rock formations, why are we so far from camp?, see and greet Daniel R by name as he walks by and I look down and see a piton hole in the granite, guy asks who'll dig the latrine (I answer "the junior staff") he says due to cutbacks there are less staff, I'm thinking the prep time for the troop lasts a week, pitching my tent, lift my sleeping bag up and gallons of water run off of it and down drainage channels, we're so far away up beyond the campfire circle people may steal out stuff, but I keep my things with me, using chopped chunks of firewood to stop my things from blowing away in the wind

+ story about some guy who drank a massive number of milkshakes at the restaurant in town, followed by eating a huge number of large meals, he was able to do this because he screwed his girlfriend out in the parking lot in between every eating period

+ (DO) gameshow, the couple who won a different show "The Vowel Game" is playing, the wife has to guess the material that a small common toy is made from, the host is tricky he doesn't show clearly which part he's asking about, I think and she answers "plastic" but that's wrong it was the toy head he was asking about and it's made out of rubber.

POT/ART Dealer is trying to make his money and avoid the authorites until a final legalization ruling comes through. He has farmland with huge acres of barns that are filled with product and surrealist paintings. On the day the legislation passes he hires stoners to convert these barns into meuseams/amusement park for smokers. We are ttryign to figure out the logistics of installing AC units in these barns and convert them..

there is a nick fury marathon on TV and I"M looking for a david hasslehof 90's era movie called "BOB FURY" in the b/w newspaper TV listings. I'm watching it on TV. He's got an eyepatch and a skin tight blue suit.

+ playing goalie in a water polo game in an indoor pool, I'm blocking shots and bouncing them off the heel of my hand like a pro, then the opponents swarm the goal and I can't hold them off

+(f) outdoor sloping stone steps (mini-amphitheatre? [DreamSign]), I'm gesturing with my hands and the stones making up the level I'm at move around and rise up slightly

+ in bed with wife in previous home, "they"'re coming I know, get up, concerned about them coming through the backyard via the sliding glass door with their spears, go out to the yard to gather up my weapons, back inside, they're like bayonets make out of shovels with arrows on the end, I see an (enemy?) kid in the yard, my wife's in the shower and I bang on the wall and scream "THEY'RE HERE!", I go out and try to figure out what team this freaky little boy is on, I ask him "Are you an Elf?" (the name of my team apparently?), but I feel foolish because how can I trust his answer?

+ on Se. ave in childhood neighborhood, pick up partially invisible scooter, get on to ride, no right handlebar and almost no place for feet, start sliding down the steep hills down the bus route, swerving back and forth to control speed, concerned speed will get away from me, several block and skidding turns down the hill I see the steep edge of the road over a cliff, and large rough rocks and waterfall [false memory], I "remember" this but never could see it well because I always was in a car, see fish in the river, think they're pirhannas, see a fountain, the fish jump, head back, group of guys talking one guys says "The Truth of the Apostles" I gesture to him and say "yeah!", doors all around now, can't find the path back, bearded hippie come through one says that's the one, a desk is blocking it, I push the desk out of the way, a short curly haired woman comes through (former colleague), I recognize her she ignores me, there are ear-bud cables blocking the door

+ big trouble arranging plastic blinds on a large window using a tool to pull them back in sister says we should have used wooden blinds we could have covered the whole window for only $100

Looking in the newspaper for computer programming jobs. Find a good one and think about how strange it is that the newspaper has want ads for this type of ting. Remember i don't know how to program.

I was on a couch, and I was cuddling with a co-worker who was sitting right in front of me; she wanted to take a break, but I didn't want to let her go, and I was concerned if I had to work today so I can keep holding onto her because the sensations were too good to miss.

+ Basketball with the Sopranos: I keep feeding Christopher the ball and he keeps bricking, air ball after air ball, I try a Michael Jordan-style scooping underhand lay-up but miss.

+ In childhood home: "arrive back" after being (at a neighbor's?), realize I left the house open, concerned about burglars, walk through looking for things missing, something's not right but I don't notice anything gone, mom says something about not putting some blanket up high in case somebody needs to shoot ("why would anybody need to shoot"); laundry machine up close [dream sign], operating the "reset menu" and emptying the lint trap, the machines are huge and are mechanical marvels of how all these pull-out systems fit together.

falling through dreamscapes. talking to people about the validity of dreams briefly before I'm swept up and falling again.

There was an attractive female around her 40s-50s that stated that if I wanted to have sex with her, I would have to do it at a certain angle, otherwise, she would have her dog bite me on the spot.

I was upstairs in the house of an on-line colleague (whom I haven't met in person), and since it was April 1, I briefly turned off the main power in the breaker box as a prank, but no one in the house seemed to notice at all; later I almost went right over a ledge on a balcony where there weren't any railings or anything; someone on ground level noticed and said to me, “Yeah, you've gotta be really careful about that,” someone else commented, “Yeah, look at what Luigi did to the floor one time” (I guess “Luigi” once fell and damaged the floor when he landed), someone else said, “Yeah, you don't want to crawl on top the TV” (I think there was a drop-off directly above one), and someone in the kitchen admitted that they should have put some chairs below the drop-off in there to help break an accidental fall.

Bunch of short dreams in late morning: not fragments, just dreams that last a few seconds. Earlier dreams more coherent, longer

+ arrive to area, snow on ground, tons of kids all around, outdoors closed area, "pop" shooter hits hole (woohoo, amazing shot!), inside building with crowd of kids

+ grading my paper with TA, I see my single-letter handwritten answers scrawled on paper, expect TA to write "A" he doesn't; jump-flying down school stairways feet-first; return to area there's a religious procession there I decide I shouldn't interrupt, make a gesture with hands

+(f) large rectangular red circuit boards

+ PP asks me to to get steak with him ("Outback?" I think), open sports car, "Matt" and some other guy are coming, shake hands

+ Chess with son, I see rolling queen/rook checkmate, son moves both rooks with one hand, then crowded complicated king-in-the-center combination planning involving discovered/double check with bishop or pawn

+ lunch with MR and friends: in restaurant, we get our table, stand up for something, come back and another group has occupied it

+ start to stuff pancakes into tiny bottle in order to mix in syrup and shake: this is stupid I think, and look for a larger bottle with a wider opening in order to do the same thing more easily .

TWAke up with the weezer song butterfly in my head. I can remember sharing my dream in my dream and talking about people way down who could tell that it was all a dreamy. The dream people are laughing and laughing. They are looking at my body sleeping in a bed and start shaking me up. "hey! he's sleeping!!!" i think..

Wild... brief lucid

laying flat on my back doing breathing with the word "remember". I can feel my hands go heavy and i forget for a second. Soon I am sleeping in a whole new bed. It's a full sized with a black comforter pulled tight. It doesn't tip me off. I go back into my wilding. I enter a dream in the dark on a block in a neighborhood. I do a nose pinch and try to stabilize but the excitement knocks me right back into my body. I try to deild and wake back up in my bed. My kid is sleeping next to me. I thought she was in her bed. She is in her bed. I wake up.

Walking down the street with some friends, laughing at different things for no reason.

+(f) talking about how hair is grown and processed (for wigs?), think about a girl with long blonde hair, the hair has to be dried in a special way

+ I'm leaving, and giving away my belongings, a crowd has gathered, those who want my stuff raise their hand, in order to select the recipient at random, raise my arm in front of me, pointing my finger like an arrow, close my eyes, spin around in a circle a few times, and end up pointing at some guy, we go to the (burrito?) restaurant to give my ceramic bowl inlaid with my name to this guy, but they don't seem to have it, at first they only have paper bowls but then I find the ceramic ones

the evil flag

dreaming about the internet. if people put their true feelings about the confederate flag, then they become exposed to people that could hurt them. I don't want my friend Anit to get hurt but i think that we should destroy the flag forever. I see another friend deliver a strong opinion against the flag and I'm surprised and a little relieved.

I gave birth to a baby in my bathroom (I'm a guy).
