Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

1. On a water ride, helped a friend who was stuck behind, ended up at a gas station.

2. Some dream about being in the mall, a woman singing on stage, talking with a couple guys, trying to leave but couldn't find my car..

3. It's Christmas at the mall, preparing for students to come in and get presents, my ex-father in law gives me a weird stuffed bear, then I go and hide in the closet with a lady while the students get their presents.

4. I'm in a lunch line at the mall, get some lunch, guide shows me beautiful desserts in another room behind some glass (it looks like apple chips in bowls), I go in, there's a man there with a line of people by him, I skirt around them and take the "bard sword" from the corner of the room, with musical notes adorned on it, hold it up to the sky like Excalibur, and proceed to dance around the room with it.

5. In the mall, with friends, exploring, found a beautiful seaglass necklace that apparently was mine and I was getting it identified, a woman with glasses keeping us from leaving the mall, and mad at us. (Note: Seeing someone wearing glasses was a reality check prompt I was doing yesterday. It's frustrating because I succeeded on getting it several times, yet missed it in the dream!).

6. Leaving the mall, I find my car and see a tub of peanut butter that got left there overnight, Erik (a student), goes in my car and steals my peanut butter (he was always trying to take my food in class), I go to tell him that he should ask first, that it could have been rotten, and then just let him have it. He kisses me on the cheek before going to stand with his family. (This dream was amazing for me. It was amazing because he has had many hardships, has thick armor on, and doesn't trust anyone. This was his last year with me. Sad to see him go.).

1. Weird: I recall last night that I was apparently, Michelle Pfeiffer singing the song, a song from "Grease 2", I believe it was; "(Love Will) Turn Back The Hands Of Time" or at least part of it was, except everything was dark in the dream.

2. I had a dream a friend about personal stuff but, I woke up, in real life, I nearly fell out of bed.

The lady singing in my dream was blonde, however, I don't have any recollection of the song she sang. Cool sync!

I lay in bed, closed my eyes and thought about something I'm working on, I gave a tone and a rhythm to a melody I thought at the moment for 5-6 minutes with my inner voice and slowly transfer the singing melody to third-party voice while shutting down my voice, the song gathered a momento and turn in full blown music and I was there, sitting on a chair while listening to the music playing on the radio, smiling that I just made some Music

1. I put my grandma's glasses on and I broke them right in the middle. (apparently my head was too big! )

A couple from this morning:

1) In a tank, outside some warehouse type area and shooting unarmed but uncooperative civilians with tank cannon shells.
2) I was at a therapist's office and saw a doctor who preferred I called him Lester and I was going to talk to him about some unresolved phobias but I woke up as we got into it.

The doctor had a German first name and Lester was actually his surname; the German name was misspelled in the dream (I checked it online just before posting this).

Edit: Looked into it further and noticed that the correct version of the German name lead me to finding out about this person ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Hofstadter ) and the first sentence in the wiki article seemed poignant. I might have to look into his works now.

1. A dream involving staying on a tropical island in a cottage by the water.

2. I am angry with my dad because he got rid of my desk and other things, then on a zoom meeting with people who didn't like jazz music - I was trying to show them how jazz can be awesome on the ukulele, then I go outside, and a beautiful oak-tomato tree has dropped ripe tomatoes all over the yard, I pick one up that's the size of a large squash, when I pick it up, it becomes so enormous I can barely carry it inside, I think it must have broken from its fall, but to my surprise, it is undamaged.

Dream 1: The first officer from the Orville and a woman seemingly higher ranked woman wants to do a decision that would kill a large space creature, but the first officer manages to change her mind and save the creature.

Dream 2: I am distilling sulfur trioxide and see the white condensation line rise up the ground glass apparatus to the condenser to be collected in the receiving flask.

Thank you for the reading suggestion, I may well try and get a copy once I'm done reading through some other books.

And this was a somewhat unusual dream anyway because I don't often remember much of the fresh dialogue or text in dreams (I saw the misspelled "Hodstadter Lester" written on a paper before he told me to call him Lester), but I think because I had this dream after first waking up in the morning and getting up to do something and then back in bed, some details were more vivid than my typical "first awakening" recall might allow.

At first I wasn't quite sure what might have brought this dream on but I later ended up thinking the main reason I had this dream was probably because of my recent interaction with Draeger in one of his threads, in which my posts were around the topic of concerns, fears and expectations; probably leading part of me into some introspection through dreaming on my own remaining and unresolved fears.

I'll stop here as I'd easily turn this into several paragraphs and I'll clutter the thread; my dream notes are better left for my DJ once I catch up on it. Thank you for having given me your input, it was much appreciated.

Dream 1: I am in Subnautica accidentally teleporting myself to areas where scary creatures lurk, then I am suddenly in an indiscernible area where I discover a chip with an old friend and we travel to a degenerate version of reality with it where a strange sea creature is, then suddenly I am in my living room going to a cupboard, then I am in a cafe with a cupboard and a woman is there that might be my mother, I pull the chip out of the cupboard and suddenly the chip is used to travel to other dimensions and back, so we do that, she finds a diamond and we go back and are happy since we are now wealthy.

Dream 2: Something with chemistry.

Someone involved with dark magic that I seem to trust brought me and my cats to school with homework because he has to solve some ordeal and he thinks I'd be safer there, after which suddenly a demon possessing an animal tries to break through the window and me and my cats run out the room and find a teacher in a hallway, and I ask where I should be since apparently suddenly I was supposed to be somewhere but don't remember where, which might be a lie of some sort, and she replies "I don't know." in a sort of "you should know that yourself" undertone.

Sadly I lost my recall streak today. I don't recall my dream from today at all.

1. Had an Fairy Odd/ Phantom dream, I was someone's FOP, it was a holiday them dream, I granting wishes for a dream character who had a brain tumor.

2. Finally, overcame something in a dream. Some slightly more personal.

3. Something about Balance.

After a night of poker with many strangers, where I won a ton of money but was unable to remember playing, I stepped outside to watch as countless house-sized sofas of all types, even leather, rained down on a quiet suburban community.

Had a dream that I was stuck in a giant empty soda bottle, briefly, that sat in the middle of some yard on its side, the cap was on, the sun was just setting, not running out of air, trying to figure out how to get out of it.

I saw a white object in the shape of a line.

Why must my recall streak end like this. Just really starting out with MILD and then suddenly it's like "nono ". Maybe it's just a subconscious expectation of something bad being followed by something good.

I feel you. I've been getting allergy attacks in the middle of the night, then have to take an allergy pill. Makes me sleep too deeply and kills my recall. I can remember bits and pieces, but no full dreams.

Had my first lucid dream in quite a while last morning.

- Was told by a dream character to break a cycle and I did so, became lucid as I became one of the dream characters and then transformed myself, at one point simply enjoying the calm and absence of pain I felt.

I think I'll just share some memorable or cool dreams here from now on, otherwise it's going to get too stressy.

Dream 1:
I was a wolf and there to protect Snow White from Once Upon a Time at some sort of warehouse and then something attacked and I might have gotten myself killed.

Dream 2:
An insane girl kidnapped me and put me into another dimension and behaved really strangely and wanted to build a cocoon or something and likes me somewhat I guess and then I was in some other reality or something and then I was back, then she decided to try and stab me then I was in my home with her and ran into the corridor and she turned into a cat and I tried choking her to protect myself.

I really should reality check to Once Upon a Time, shouldn't I? Also being a wolf seemed pretty cool, I should try it when I get some lucids.

Also that girl dream was very strange and disturbing, that was cool.

Had a dream last night with monsa199a in it:

I was sitting, on the floor, in a dark tavern cleaning two of my molars that I was able to pull out of my head, then noticed that monsa had sat down in front of me, on a chair facing the other way, he was doing artwork (painting?), and I didn't want him to see me clean my teeth, so I quickly put them back in my head and left.

A few different ones, though dreams today were mostly fragmented anyway...

- I remember the feeling of my hands holding the stylus and drawing on my tablet, but not sure what I was drawing.

Spoiler for NSFW somewhat sexual:

- I was underwater and there was a cutscene-like part where a giant blue hermaphroditic character approaches and I or my dream character get wrapped by some kind of phallic tentacles coming from the giant's genital area.

- Some fragment where I went up a lift after escaping a great number of enemies that I'd been shooting with a shotgun and when the lift stopped there was a deer or half-deer character.
- In a city, using a tank that's almost two lanes wide but then get out and start using a jet instead and go shoot at some stereotypical "evil henchmen".

The first thing I see is some sort of catalog of drugs that change your dreams, often in nightmarish ways, most notably one that makes the faces in your dreams really demonic and stretched, and looks just like what it would make the faces look like and then I was somewhat helping some puppet sitting on a chair in the living room of my home or something since there was something chasing us. I brought it to a room and closed the door shut, after which we walked out again to some people in the living room which are all like really tough male people who were pretty intimidating. They said something to insult us, and the puppet talked to them and we went past, but at the windows the were people we wouldn't be able to get past so we went back to the room from before, then, I was semi-lucid and I don't remember how it came to this, but I got aware and just reality checked multiple times: I plugged my nose and could just breathe through it, which was a strange feeling and I was sure that I was dreaming, but it really wasn't stable and it was all unclear, and I was semi-lucid at most since I was barely really there and it was all still completely like really scene-skippy and full of nonsensical logic, but I didn't seem to notice all that much, and I just went to a mirror to pursue my shapeshifting goals, where I thought of what I wanted and looked away and back to a mirror, and I tried it by just thinking of what kind of a dragon form I wanted but I really couldn't do it so I did the same but only for a tail, which worked but was totally numb and unmovable, like a dead limb just attached to me, and I just gave up, I thought of trying to breathe fire at the people I couldn't get past but I forgot and then I got excited over something and it woke me up quite a lot so I just kept my eyes closed and laid still, and doing that I remembered the shapeshifting tutorial that also gives you complete sensation and makes everything movable, but then my parents accidentally woke me up.

Second LD

1. I had a dream where one moment my world was going great and the next, I was lost in a war-stricken area trying to get home, in an era that does not co-assist with mine as a spy.

2. Had a dream that I was simultaneously the teacher and the student in a school.

Flying through cave-like tunnels, managed to jump over some lava pit chasm, guide gives me a thumbs up and says my letter is an "A," which had something to do with my health (good), and then I'm in someone else's tunnels, the tunnels were too wide and open, I felt despair and fear there, dead-like or dying feeling, something was wrong there.

I couldn't remember much else, except waking up with Touch Me by the Doors blaring in my head.
