Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

Just had a great lucid that started out emotional but, then there was a moment of clarity of what was happening around me, that feeling like something was about to go down, absorption of all that negative energy that I have noticed around me lately, and turned it into positive energy. Okay, going back to bed.

- I was a police officer in a very busy mall, going somewhere to arrest someone and when I get there, he's already in cuffs and I find his wallet seeing a picture of "me", so I take this "me" away down some stairs and eventually the prisoner is now in a body bag, still with the cuffs on. I can feel the bony body and the cuffs with my hands.

A peculiar dream even for me. I don't think I've ever dreamed of myself as a second dream character and there were plenty of potential RC moments. I think when I read one of Lang's dreams here, they had some clones in and I thought it was interesting and it kind of stuck with me. But I was in a foul mood last night so I have an idea of what some of the dream metaphors (prisoner, cuffs, alter-ego, etc.) were for.

You know, Jung thought that everyone in your dreams is an aspect of yourself (I think). Of course, I think that's stretching it. I have many dreams that are more like "sum ups" of what's going on in my life, and the characters represent external people. However, in a sense he's not wrong. Everyone in existence is connected. We are all aspects of the same self.

Anyways!

Sitting on the edge of a beautiful lake, watching dragonflies and butterflies fly about, my guide tells me it's the "Reality Lake" and that I might want to do a "reality check, since, you know, you do those all the time.. " - I laugh to this, thinking Yeah, I sure do a lot of reality checking... and count 10 fingers (damn it).

That was my mantra playing back to me! My mantra is "I question my reality a lot."

Literal dream prompts are usually amusing - not to mention annoying in their own way if they're so obvious and we still miss them.

Well, I do pretty much have that belief as Jung, though how literally I take things depends on available context usually. I would like to read his work directly but haven't had the chance to yet; most of what I know from Jung's works is from reading about them or receiving indirect knowledge about them, primarily through other authors' works on Symbology. Within characters I create "more consciously" during waking life (in writing or otherwise) I do make it more literal so that they do represent certain parts of me and give them symbolic features, and as a result my characters often have overlapping traits between themselves.

I did have another dream last night. Was debating sharing because it's kind of personal. But here goes:

At some convention, a presenter asks a question ("What is the most important thing in a relationship?"), my old friend from college shows up and says "I was gonna say trust..." (my answer as well), I let him kiss me, but I felt confused.. my friend is happy in his relationship irl, so I felt bad when I woke up.

Not something I would have done if I had been more lucid.

1. Picking up a baby deer and feeling good in the dream.

2. The visit from the ghost next door.

Last night my dreams were sad.

1) Riding around with Tanya (my former best friend/sister in law, we had a falling out), we've got all these kittens and cats in the car, and she crashes it, I save all the animals with no help from her, and then ask her to let me bring my little orange tabby, who "doesn't want to fight, and just wants to be close to me," (cue huge kitten eyes) however, she was a bit miffed that I would make such a demand when she had like 8 pets in the car that were all hers.

^ I'm sure that represents some aspect of myself.. Hmm..

2) I apparently hurt my nephew Julian.. Jujube, and he had stitches from me.. felt very sad in the dream.

Bathtub overflowing, driving in the car with my mom to a doctor's appointment, halfway there we realized that we forgot important stuff at home (both wallet & purse), turned around and had to go back home, going driving backward back into the city and then I sat waiting in the waiting room for what felt like five years to see the doctor.

Being a hairy monkey that didn´t catch his fiancee falling from tall tower and wiping my body with birch leaves to smell fantastic again.

I'm with three women on a small open ship that is headed to Pluto, they don't want to go, a man in a helicopter is trying to save them, he successfully gets two of the three women on his plane, suddenly the last woman fires bullets at the helicopter, I see from her eyes it looks like the man is a demon with a spiky helmet, I'm trying to help her get off this ship, she's stuck in fear, then his ship starts going down.

I'm with my mom at a church, she suddenly has a book in her hands, she is telling me it's the "real new testament," feeling of amazement, we head next door to the thrift shop where the "real Santa" is, I can't believe my eyes, I tell the children there they better be good because Santa is watching, they all straighten up, and some man whispers behind my back "she's very very good at that."

I'm at my sister's house, I'm trying to use the bathroom, the toilet is on the ground, almost like a toddler toilet, unopened heavy cream by the toilet, wondering why it's there, I'm having trouble going because my sister is talking to me through the wall, asking me if I've gone yet.

Had a more negitive dream then I wanted but, that wasn't problem, I woke up with a bloody nose.

Didn't remember much dreams, I got injured last night when out for a run. Tripped over my feet and landed hard on the asphalt, now covered in bandages all over my leg, knees, and hand. It felt like they were on fire last night, could only sleep when I was able to get fresh ice packs. Ugh.

I did have one dream, though. I had on my large moldavite, it came to me in the dream and was saying some pretty crazy things. I took it off after that, and then my guide told me I shouldn't be wearing that much moldavite (it's a large piece), and should stick to my smaller piece.

-Had a dream about a floating pyramid in the middle of my woods.

Had a really exciting WILD about flying around a museum, the rest is personal.

I'm with a group, we're trying to get out of a bad place, lots of zombies and ghosts, I open a door, and then suddenly a very very fast zombie comes out and starts fighting me, this guy in the group tells me "Don't let it bite you! Don't let it bite you!!", I'm grappling with it, I just barely manage to get it's chomping head away from me, no way I can win this, the guy jumps in the way of the zombie and sacrifices himself, he is dead on the ground, but amazingly, comes back to life, now with a mustache.

Going to a pool party with a group of people and my ex-husband, as we get in the car, I realize I can't go because there's no way my Mom would agree with COVID and all, and so we go down the street to ask my parents, they say no, there's a young psychic girl who starts crying when I tell her we can't go, I give her a $20 bill to support her schooling, ask her if she's clairvoyant or clairaudient (she doesn't know), explain what they are and tell her I'm clairaudient, then I see an overlay of a constellation on my face, 3 stars in a line above top lip, one star below my bottom lip.

(Those were totally more than one sentence )

Had a lucid dream about hang out with some co-stars at a concert with Jordan Matcalfe and his wife, shirtless at one point, looking at some map, pulling golden keys out of my pocket and unlocking a door to some room.

(Sorry to double post)

1. Lucid about telling someone at some Camp about dream control, that you have to trust that you are going to succeed in whatever you want to succeed and pull out the keys or whatever you want from your pockets. It was like the other dream that I had last night but, different.

2. Had a dream about an old Japanese urban legend about a spirit who wandered the roads, it was here where I lived, (I don't live in Japan.) and caused me to be pushed down the road, (It was strange and I thought it was here to cursed me, it had a red line on its face, short black hair, wearing cream/light pink colored kimono) then I help a mother and her son cross the road.
(Son fainted in the middle of the road, scooped him up in my arms, there was oncoming traffic)

It's my uncle's funeral, I see a girl from high school and my daughter, both naked, scaling a wall, amazed that my daughter can do that, and then I'm zip-lining with my cousin Dottie (my uncle is her dad), getting ready for some olympic games, it was the funnest funeral I ever went to.

Just wanted to point out that was how my uncle was. He was always having fun and goofing off, adult ADHD off the charts, he would have wanted everyone to have a fun time rather than be sad.

Last night -

My daughter is misbehaving, I go into her room, open up her secret treasure box, and inside is a note that says "I Queen," also a brilliant long quartz crystal that has a note that says "This mine," I take the crystal away from her as punishment.

At my old high school, apparently I ordered a ridiculous number of pizzas, and get them all, plus bonus pizza.

I had a dream last night were I was brifly lucid but, I was shot and had internal bleeding and losing the dream control.

+ walking in downtown B on the sidewalk, I see a car stuck in traffic with my (both decease) grandmother and grandfather, I wave to get their attention and start chatting with them

+ close up inspection of a multi-key-tool-thing, using it to open a lock box

+ dealing with angry protesters

Nap: Had a foggy dream about being on a bus that broke down on the side of the road in the middle of winter.

Not a dream, but, my recently deceased uncle gave me a message last night.

He said I had a great memory and nothing to worry about, which was relieving to me because I had been stressing (he died from early-onset alzheimer's which can be a genetic thing).

Had a dream about keys, a baby and waking up very happy.
