Thread: Share your dream from last night in one sentence

Had a dream about walking next to an Elected President and being taller, becoming Lucid dream after that, election stuff.

earlier:

+ woman suicides outside church, I see her lying on the ground and liquid (clear at first) and blood pumping from a large puncture on the left side of her neck

+ driving at high speed through intersections, and freeway on-ramps, trying vainly to read the signs and find the right route to get home

+ people talking about the amazing huge cave discovered on the shore line, it's a nearly a religious experience to visit it, I think I know where it is and what they're talking about

+ the library books are due soon, I spoke with the librarian (in a library setting) and I was pretty sure I had more time since I just recently checked them out

+ I hear a political discussion while I'm inspecting a large stone/crystal spherical structure

+ [long, vivid] lots of construction in our area, people move in across the street, they have a massive mansion and property filled with wild animals, I particularly note the lions (and wild boars), tell people about them, try to avoid them and the owner, there's a large social event at their place

later:

+ my firewood is covered in plastic but it's raining and the water has risen several feet, it's too deep to walk through clothed so I go to change into my swimsuit, younger son is throwing apples (shooting with a slingshot?) with a friend and (my parents?) say he'd better not or he'll get in trouble, as I go inside to change

Somehow my alarm clock snooze function was linked to how many beers I'm drinking.

earlier:

+ with son S2 in present day home, earwax buildup on his mobile, he's making a massive pile of noodles in a bowl in the kitchen (I want some), back in my room facing him I notice his swollen, misshapen, balding head, and way "What's up with your head!?"

+ outside food truck (sausages with lots of toppings) on the street, the vendor woman I notice is speaking in English [DS!], she has weird teeth [DS], the sausages are tightly rolls of thinly sliced lunch meat, around front with son S1 to order, there are vats of toppings like guacamole, and various sweets to order

+ lots of activity with a Boy Scout group on a dark (snowy?) hill, there is a luxurious looking clubhouse with lights on inside and a round dome roof

+ (f=fragment), faces, (mother?) saying something about some woman living in "Eckerly" or something like that.

+ at a traffic light, pull up to left lane to turn left beside cool car, some guy from the other direction (right?) pulls in front of me in a giant cool car, I decide not to mess with him, light turns green, but I realize too late while in the intersection that the light is green only for straight not turning left, and I'm going to run into problems with cross-traffic

later:

+ in a canoe on a large body of water, my mobile is out and I'm filming, find a nice spot to land but have trouble and get advice from the guys already landed, I make several attempts, get out, want to get naked and swim (I'm wearing a swimsuit?), the others want to go but I say "give me time to swim!"

+ woman pushing a hotel luggage trolley, another woman is riding, they make out (?), I take over, get to the destination where the woman's husband is, woman and I quickly kiss, and I start discussing their travel plans, they're from the south and only flying to a neighboring state, a map of the south comes up and I'm eyeing it closely trying to make sense of it and name the states

+ (f) in some indoor location with tubes, some man makes some comment (he's a celebrity?), I think about the air flowing through the tubes

+ [vivid, present] in a pharmacy, I see (and narrate?) indian spices, the store clerks pop their heads around the aisle corners a few times and make random comments, I get really fascinated with the stevia, and try to decide what to buy: large size pellets, medium size, tiny size, there are so many different options I'm overwhelmed; I also look at the tooth flossers because I should bring some home for my kids, I pick up a few and carry them with me

There was a ridiculously large satellite in the sky then an old NASA looking shuttle lands. I pretend that I didn't know we were going to take our son into orbit for his birthday.

Something about being in the hospital, trying to escape, passing out in the hallway, Patricia Richardson was my doctor and having a fever that was 107 degrees temp ( 41.667°C) and feeling totally confused as to why it was so high, I should be dead or in a coma.

I had a strange sexual dream that I am trying to forget lol

I had nightmares all night long. It was not a good night. Hoping tonight will be better (Had to do with covid..)

Last night, can’t remember. But two nights ago, dreamt with her again. Yeah!

Getting back into lucid dreams after very long dry spell.

early:
+(f) something about an election

+(f) a group from a rich mansion are planning a picnic outing

mid:
+ office building, ladies seen under the stairs getting my attention by flashing their privates, I go to this group and recount a portion of my recent life story

+ (vague) in a (darkish) room sitting at a dining table, a woman (wife?) is bringing food, it's overflowing out of my mouth, it's a sort of pink foamy mousse.

late:
+ I want to walk my beloved home, either her or my home, it's the same path

+ call some guy to help me for some reason, I'm ashamed of my dirty beet-stained sink that he pokes around in with disgust, I thank him for coming as he rides off on his weird little open buggy with phat tires, and he calls back to me "It was REALLY INCONVENIENT coming here", going in to some detail on how he drove to my place

+ lying in bed next to a naked Indian young man, other people are sleeping on beds/cots around, I'm moving my hand to turn over and happen to brush his butt because I'm close, but I'm quite careful not to touch his genitals because that it not my intention and don't want to give the wrong impression

Lucid from 6-9 am today. Did a monthly task. Will post in my DJ later

So in my lucid dream last night, you were the new elected president. Weird?

earlier:
+ approaching the ocean in the distance (pass by a murky pond on the right), reach the beach, there is a patch of super clear water, the beach however is wet and muddy and not suitable for sitting, I wonder about the temperature of the water and if there are scary sea creatures there

+ emotionally painful breakup with g/f: I mistakenly make a pencil/charcoal mark on the bed, she gets upset, the discussion spirals out of control, she heavily criticizes me, I think we're probably done for good and I'm distraught about this

+ winter fair: night-time, outside, there are these winter (snow, ice, mirrors) based arcade activities/games, I remember seeing this fair somewhere else in the past [another dream?] and recognize it; by a pool, I almost slip and fall in as I'm stepping backwards, I see g/f did fall in, she is fully clothed in the water, totally soaked, I think: should I join her and get soaked as well?

later:

+ riding in go-carts on some indoor building course, driving clock-wise, I get stuck in the right-most lane which is nevertheless a sort of "express lane"

+ g/f shows up for a costume party in costume, she looks odd [heavier, shorter, face wrong], I change into my costume, very colorful, including spring-loaded "moon shoes", (which some other guy will wear?)

I was at work but decided to take my shorts off (shorts aren't even dress code) and just be in my underwear. I finally realized what I had done and started questioning things but I woke up too soon.

I witness some sort of VR MMORG competition and its down to the last 4 players competing for first place.

Had a dream where I vividly saw a glowing entirely red rainbow all across the sky, it was intensely beautiful.

I RC'd MULTIPLE TIMES in the dream, but my hands looked completely normal every time. Frustrating, going to look at changing my RC method.

I climbed into a machine giant's body, a war with tons of people, some trying to take over the giant, I became the operator in the head, controlling it, defeating enemies, my team members became like worshipers, and at the end we won, and I was treated as the Queen.

Had a Lucid dream that had to with very specific goal that I had in mind and oh it was the best but, every private (Feels like a significant turning point).

Strangely, I find the looking at hands my most reliable RC, try to focus closely on your arms for several seconds and see if they deform. For example my fingers suddenly becomes super long.

Thanks. I may try that sometime, but I have a feeling I won't remember. I'm practicing sticking my fingers through my hands now. I'm on a 5 minute RC timer with my MotivAider. Honestly though? I should probably stop RC'ing, and instead, look around my environment more every buzz.

Walking around lucid, thinking, I could really appreciate getting to stay in the dream for just one hour. Just one hour.

Like michael79, hands seem to be my most reliable RC; sticking my fingers through my hands has worked well in the past for me, but in dreams I rarely remember to do that specific check for some reason. But these days during my RC process I also do try to just go through several things slowly and think about what's going on within me and around me.

I'll PM you something about the fingers-through-hands too.

Nap: About fracturing my left arm after falling off my roof of my flying car, apperently, I was supposed to be good at car surfing.

Long dream about playing some new and lesser known gaming console and by brother also bought one to play me online.

After platforming my way around muddy hallways with imaginary alligators and willing the next hallways to be safe and luxurious, finding myself at awe with the flower motifs (that I would have found tacky in real life) on the wooden steps to the next hall.
