Horse jumping of a cliff

I have a old mare that is suffering with arthritis. She is doing good at the moment.
Well last night I had a dream that I was in the field with the other horse & I couldn't see my mare. I was standing with the other horse & then I made her run down the field. I ran down the field with her laughing as she was running along the field so happy. It was lovely. Then I heard my mare call out. I looked up & she was at the edge of a cliff. I knew she was ready for jumpng off to get to me. I shouted no to her & put my hand up to try to stop her. Then she started to run down the cliff but it was to steep & then she started to fall. She was falling & crying out. I was screaming & looking to see if anyone was there to help, but no one was there. She landed on her side & I could see all her body bounce up of the ground & I saw all her bones break inside her body. She bounced up again, only to land down again & her body went flying along the field to the other side & landed in the hedge row. All the time I could hear her crying out & I could see her eyes were opened wide. I saw the pain on her face & I knew I couldn't stop what was happening. It was breaking my heart. I knew she was going to die in pain & I could do nothing to help her.
The pain & fear I felt in my dream was unbelievable. I couldn't breath & my heart hurt so much I thought I was going to die & thats when I woke up. When I woke, I had a horrible pain in my heart & I had tears. It took a while for me to get my breathe. I had to get out of bed & call my son to go & check on her.
I never want a dream that bad again. I have suffered with nightmares from being a child & they have be bad, but to feel the pain, fear & hopelessness of not being able to save my horse was unbearable. It felt so real. I heard every sound from when she first called to me, & hearing her bones break. The crys was so bad. I cannot get it out of my mind.
