Thread: OMG this is amazing

This is a great story and its all relevant to dreaming. If you manage to read it all, thanks and it'll be worth it. It's a truly magical experience.


So basically about a month ago i started writing a story about me in 2031 looking back on 2015. Its kinda like a diary entry. I discuss what happened in 2015 (nuclear war) and then i might skip to 2023 where i met a girl and then say "yesterday though, this happened". in a recent entry.

I've been writing every day and i'm at 8,000 words so far.

Anyway here's the really interesting part. My last diary entry was when i found this little remote village. I was excited because it was the first sign of real existance... not just like seeing 1 or 2 people, but a whole village with functioning shelters. This is all in the real world. Anyway two months earlier i met someone that i had been searching for, for 8 months as my best friend died. She was a florist before the nuclear war happened.

This is (summarised) what i wrote exactly 2 days ago in real life, just before going to bed:

DIary entry was about me and this girl i'd just met finding this little village, we were hesitant at first because we both had met too many bad people in the past just to trust the people of this village. As we were running along the side of a river we found it and someone in their village noticed us so we went on this big run and chase kinda thing were a man chased us both and the very last thing i wrote about was when we jumped into a loch (because we were at a dead end) and submerged ourselves under water to escape him momuntarily. She didnt take enough oxygeon so i kissed her (romantic spin off was obviously to follow).

Then i go off to bed.

Now the dream i had 2 nights ago went as follows.

I appeared in this loch (that i had imagined while writing in rl) with my arm around her. I was sooo scared to pop my head up in fear of him being there. I had a strange taste in my mouth (her, when i gave her oxygeon) and i popped my head up and he had his back to us so i quietly got out of the water to try and kill him (because in my story i had bad experiences with people in the past - "the end of the world bring oppertunities for people without morals" was a quote from my story)

Anyway i grab him and im wrestling with him and then he pins me down and just as he's about to punch me the woman stabs him in the head with a pick-axe he was carrying. The blood dropped onto my face.

After that we were walking and she tells me of how people had taken her 3 year old daughter 2 months ago (my dreams were giving me a plot, id been struggling that night to think of matrial).

I could feel the soft branches at my feet as i talked to her and just after she says that i wake up and of course...

I write my story down, word for word... action for action, whatever happened in my dream. Amazing - i mean i'm literally in my own creation, i was in my story that i had conjoured up, i WAS that character. But i do not continue with it as i hope i can pick off from where i last left it the following night so i go to sleep the next night and hope for the best.

And instantly it feels i'm back in my story. its the EXACT same dreamworld, surrounded by trees, the sun is glaring down on us.. making me feel like a baked potato. And then we turn to each other. She says to me "that kiss back there... That was... purely for oxygeon, yes?" and i reply "only if you wanted it to be" and i smiled. The next thing i know we're going at it and then we see an army truck pass by so she puts her top back on while i zip back up my jeans, like a gentleman...

But when the army trucks pass 3 men come out of the truck and look around, guns in hands and i think they proceed to the dead body. The weird thing is that i was still wet from when i'd went in the loch. it was all so vivid.

Finally (ill cut it short) we over-hear them (while hiding) talking about a nuclear war again so we know we have to escape the united kingdom... but not before rescuing her daughter from the village people.

Again, i woke up and recorded my dream INTO my story. God i hope this can carry on tonight, i need material and this is an immense experience and i woke up in absolute awe both times.
