Why did I not become lucid?

last night I had a dream where I was lying in bed and wanted to do an RC but I said to myself I'm to tired to poke my hand, pinch my nose and count my fingers so I looked at a clock so I did not had to move, now instead of a real clock my G15 keyboard LCD screen popped up and said 22:30, I looked again and it said 22:25, I thought it might be broken and looked again, 22:07. Now I poked my hand trough my dream (I was not lucid, never was) and it went trought yet I did not become lucid, this is the third time that something like this happend, I do not mindlessly do an RC I take the time I look to see if I can find dream signs and see things that are not supposed to be there. anyway so I got out of bed (in the dream) and try'd to summon someone 3 times but it did not work, then I try'd flying out of the window and did another RC just to be sure I was lucid (dream lucid that is ) and it failed then I woke up.

No that was weird... when I woke up I thought I became lucid but then I thought why would I summon somebody? I have made a deal with myself that the first thing I would do is fly, and why would i do 1 rc instead of my usual 3 + looking around.
I do know what my dream room looks like now which might come in handy.

probably you need to switch your RC routine. maybe your mind is getting used to the RCs you normally do and just ignores the results?

Ah, you know, remembering goals is one of the hardest things in a DILD, right? Trying to summon instead of fly would be normal lol
Anyway, it seems like in the dream, you didn't even stop once to question if it was a dream or not, do you question reality while doing them awake? And do you do the RCs randomly or in a set number of times? I find randomly to be a better way.

Yes I question reality and do RC's randomly.

Basically what happened is I dreamt about being lucid, which has happened before but here my dream self said I am dreaming now, however it was the dream that said it, not my concius. (spelling).
But I do see this as a step forward. I also heard some sound in the dream. which is awesome.

Well, I would call this lucidity. If you KNOW you were dreaming, and you were in control of your own actions.
The fact that you were unable to summon people, etc though is probably caused by something else I think. First of all you need to BELIEVE that you can make those people appear!
      (Might sound strange, I know).

I've been like this before, knowing I were dreaming.. without the ability to control anything. And this has really irritated me. This isn't really a problem to me anymore.

If all else fails, I often try plasebo on myself. Because my mind isn't fully logically aware, It sometimes help to "trick" myself into becoming lucid.

For example, after discovering I was dreaming (through a RC) I was suddenly bothered by this "invisible wall". This is not uncommon in my dreams, don't know about you. Anyway, I tried to go through a window, removing the wall, etc. But I couldn't get past it. So I told myself out loud "The only reason why I can't pass this wall, Is because I'm to cold! I need to warm myself up!" (Kinda cheesy, I know..) : P
After telling that to myself a couple of times, I rubbed my hands together, rubbed my face, and focused on the feeling of warmth. Doing this for a few seconds, I started feeling really warm.. So I just walked through the area which had previously been blocked. Becoming more aware, and more lucid.

However the dream DID end a few moments later. But I do think that doing this in the past, has led to me encountering the very same problems less in the present. Well, that's just what I felt helped me.. I'm confident you will learn to become more lucid on your own though!

I am fair and square, loud and clear. Yet, you associate me with fear.
Laugh of joy, or shed a tear.. You'll find no mercy here!
Though I sound bad, you hold me dear. I'm your satisfaction's engineer!
      What am I?
