Hey everyone,
I was just wondering how many reality checks you do everyday to have a lucid dream?
Also, do reality checks really have a big impact on having a Lucid Dream?
Thanks alot!

I find reality checks do not induce lucid dreams themselves; the effect you get from RCs during the day is kind of hidden.
What I find is the fact that if you remember to RC during the day, you're actually just remembering to check if you're dreaming during the day. Its not often you will just randomly do a RC in a dream and realize you're dreaming; for me at least.
But this doesn't me don't do reality checks. What this means is instead of just grabbing your nose and blowing out of it randomly through out the day, reinforce why you are doign it. I always say "Is this a dream? am I dreaming?", proceed to look around me, take note of everything around me (this step is VERY important; this is where you become a natural lucid dream). You really really need to become aware of how objects 'be' in waking life, how people act, how shadows are casted, etc. Then, proceed to RC and visualize one thing you would do if infact you found yourself awake in this location.
This is all very important to do; especially taking note of everythign around you. This will make the difference between one person just knowing they are dreaming due to the very subtle yet very drastic difference, and one person who goes "WTF WHY DIDNT I REALIZE IM DREAMING ARGGHHHH".
