My subconsious is a girl?

Ok, tonight I had my most interesting dream ever :panic:

I was in some kind of prison, and there was this women(like 30 years old(im 19)) she had some kind of a teacher authority feeling to her. I was talking about dreams with her and I knew we were in a dream, but somehow I didn't do anything with this knowledge.

She explained to me that she was my subconsious and that she was the one preventing me from getting lucid dreams :shock: She also told me that she knew I would hate her for that fact, but I told her "I would never hate you." and I have no idea why.

The conversation lasted for about 2 minutes I estimate. One thing that I remembered the most was my conclusion, I walked away and said "Give it time, and the nebula within the nebula will reveal itself" as if quoting a quote I never heard before.

So after waking up I wrote that sentence as the first thing down and then the whole dream, It was only after taking a shower that I remembered what a Nebula was to begin with.

So what does this mean, and have you ever had interesting discussions with your subconsious? :)

Seems to be an auspicious sign to me. Perhaps this was a sign that your goal of perfect lucidity is permeating through to your subconscious, but you are keeping some areas of you consciousness muted, or locked up in prison. Without knowing you, I would see this as perhaps you should try exploring your mind and try to dispel any fears or anxieties you have.

The quote is fascinating. Like your conscious is a nebula and your subconscious is the nebula within the nebula that needs to be revealed. Maybe try to let your inner most thought permeate out, expressing your subconscious.

Thanks for your reply, I've been thinking about this "perhaps you should try exploring your mind and try to dispel any fears or anxieties you have." but this is harder then it seems, I haven't been afraid for something for a long time.

And your view on the quote is quite amazing, I myself thought of it as nebula(some kind of galaxy) within the nebula meaning, The dreamworld inside of the real world that would reveal itself.

I don't have much to add other than the fact that your dream is truly fascinating. So many times people post their dreams on here and I just skim by them without paying too much attention. This one seemed poignant.

So next time you meet your "subconscious" ask for evidence of the supposedly infinite power it would hold over you.
