Can't stabilize need help!

so i recently found out the reason for my bad lucids is i don't stabilize so i have been trying to stabilize, in the last 4 LD's i had but to no avail i either half-butt it, get distracted, or not do it at all. in fact most of the time i do what the dream wants me to and lose lucidity. i even tried thinking out what i would do in a dream. when i enter an
ld i feel like i just woke up but i am really tired so i don't have motivation sometimes and can't focus! so if anyone has advice on what to do i'd really appreciate it! thanks

There are MANY different techniques you can try. The key is persistance, devotion, and well, remembering to do so.

If it feels like the your dream is ending, or becoming blury/dark, and regardless of how much you try to keep it, it still remains really persistant at doing so, -or- even in the dream, it is leading to some method of ending (such as going to sleep, completing a task, winning a match, etc etc) it can mean that you are coming to the end of you REM cycle, and your mind is getting ready to end the dream.
