Music and Time....

So last night I had my second lucid dream since coming here! ive been practicing reality checks, but last night i just realized i was dreaming in no specific way. so i have a few questions:
Is it normal to hear music in dreams?
It was almsot like "Inception" music (which was awesome, and im guessing thats cause i saw it again last nite)
How does time work in dreams? My recall has been absolutely horrible because of my sleeping schedule, but i had such a busy day yesterday that I cashed at 9:30, as opposed to 1 or 2 in the morning. Does the number of hours i sleep determine how much i dream? cause the longer i sleep, it seems, the more vivid my dreams are. And my dream was loooooong. the events flowed seamlessly, but the way the day went on in my dream, made it feel as if i was in the dream for over 12 hours. again, is that normal?
