So close! but was woken up 3 times in a row :S

So today I tried for the first time to lucid dream, I attempted the WILD method and go into bed for a nap.

First time I got to a point where my arms were numb and the body randomly twitched, then my mum opened my bedroom door to say hi and all of a sudden I was regular again

second time, I was getting really close, my entire body numb.... then an alarm went off and same story

third time, I was feeling in now way tired, but I gave it a lash, my body was numb, I was hearing the original pokemon theme song, I was seeing weird silouttes of like hooded people, getting close, then my dad opened the door, then realized I had told him earlier I was learning to lucid dream and said "sorry" and closed it, damn.


I keep getting close in WILD, My body goes numb, I see weird shapes (dark colours like dark green/red/blue) and think random thoughts, I also hear random stuff, like last time the entire original pokemon theme song played in my head, where do I go from here?

No one help me?

I wish I could help. While I have never had a successful (and fully conscious) WILD, I get these same sensations right before I fall asleep. When I get better control I'm sure I can enter successfully, but at least we know we're close because if sleep is a result of the tingling/random thoughts/weird visuals then that means we're about to dream.

You're on the right track from what I've read (I've never had a successful WILD personally so I cant talk from experience). The shapes, thoughts and sounds mean you're getting close, who knows, you probly would have made it if it hadn't been for the interruptions!
