      Forgetting Parts of Lucids

I'm confused because I had a long lucid dream last night and I remember becoming lucid and some things I did during it, but after that I remember only fragments. How is this happening?

      Thanks

I too, am having the same problem. I suggest improving dream recall. Just keep writing in your journal :p

      Will do, thanks
When I remember it it seems like a normal dream, but I know I became lucid at the beginning.
Maybe it turned into a normal one in the middle?

Well, your dream recall in a normal one vs a lucid one shouldn't be any different. The key to lucid dreaming is recall. I bet on average, people don't even remember half of their lucids. lol

Same here. That's the problem with DILDs... Sigh.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

I suggest DEILD, (dream exit induced lucid dreaming). There is a post of it somewhere around here, i think its in attaining lucidity.

It is possible that you became lucid before your REM state which would make your dream less vivid and harder to recall. I wouldn't suppose you knew when in the night you had the dream?
What do you think of my transportation/spawning method/hypothesis? ... I think it's pretty badass...

Lucids are much easier to remember than non-lucids, since you're awareness typically helps in the formation of longterm memories. I'd be more inclined to say that if people remembered any of their dreams, it'd be the lucid ones.

Now, forgetting the details of a longer LD happens to everyone, I'm sure, but I wouldn't stress over it too much. Just keep doing what you're doing. Work on improving recall if you so desire, but don't feel like you have to if it's already at a sufficient level.
