So close to a deild!

Hey...
Well,this morning was the first time I succeeded with something other than WBTB and DILD...
To get started,let me say,I haven't had a Lucid Dream in a very long time(around a month and a half)...
About a week ago,I decided to try DEILDing...I made up some auto suggestions to get me started and woke up quite often during mornings...
Anyways,back to the DEILD experience...

It was exactly 8am and I was lying in bed...there was no dream as I was experiencing total blackness,when suddenly I heard my watch's "beeeep!"...
That exact moment I woke up,but did not open my eyes or move...

No more than 5 seconds later I experienced the most awesome transition ever...
Now let me say this,If you're never DEILDed or WILDed...you have to!
The experience was shorter than WILD yet so amazing...

That instant all the sound around me (which only was my quiet ceiling fan) became louder and I felt as if some audiobox in my head was producing it...
At first I could only hear it in my left ear,then slowly,it faded to my right ear and everything became blacker...

Now this is the part where you present me with a face-palm...

For some reason I expected the dream to show up really fast...So,since I was in SP,I though I could enter my dream by "opening" my eyes and ending up in a my room as a dream scenario...And so I did...

Well,At first,I though that THIS was my dream...It seemed quite clear,although there was a bunch of strange dissorted red lines at to my left...
That's when I decided to do a Reality Check...
When I tried lifting my arm,it seemed as if some force was pulling it back...So I resisted that force and pulled my arm to my nose and pinched it...

That's when it hit me...I was awake...:panic:

Now don't ask me if this was a false awakening...I did around a 100 reality checks and was quite disjointed...at the same time,quite amused and glad that I was able to get this far...
That morning I thought that I perhaps could do it again...And so I went back to bed...
I spent a whole hour trying to fall asleep and had strange and somehow lucid dreams ( I only remember telling someone..."I'm just waiting for the 'beep' again so I can DEILD ) that I believe would be cheating to include in the LD count...

Anyway,that morning I had something similar...I was waking up here and there and told myself to hold still the next time it happens...
And so I heard the "sound" again...
This time it sounded like I was in an airplane...Now,look,I can't remember if it I heard this at the first DEILD or not...

So this time I tried to enter a dream scenario,however was only able to see vivid images and abstract buildings...That's when I got tired really fast and decided to quit it...though this time when I moved,there was no force pulling me...So does this mean I was not in SP?

If you're still reading this,thanks...and sorry about the rather long post...I'm just really excited...

Good for you :) I managed to have a DEILD that ended instantly not long ago, but thats it. Let me tell you how I did it: I wasnt "quite" awake. Or at least not until HI hit me. If youre too aware, its hard to transition. Try to feel tactile sensations, it can help.

Oh...well I fear it won't happen again cause I was woken up (alarmed,actually) by my watch...
Which I rarely hear...
