Willpower vs Dreams
I apologize for the brevity of this post, but I'm typing it as I'm heading out to work and eating, breakfast.
Last night I had another lucid dream (they are coming in shorter and shorter intervals! :D ) When I tried to accomplish my first dream goal, however, I failed. After I couldn't pull it off, my ADD kicked in and I tried some other activities with a small amount of success.
Now looking back on it, I am beginning to think that I failed because of the way I was trying to make it happen. From this forum, I've heard once or twice that belief is very powerful tool for lucid dream. But I'm not sure how to use it. What happened last night was along the lines of:
"I am now trying to feel my goal coming true" Trying to mentally will it to be so. The dream stubbornly refused to cooperate.
Am I trying to hard? Or should I try another way? Or am I just still too weak in lucid dreaming, and just need more practice?

I personal belief is that 'goals' and lucid dreaming do not mix. The thought of a predetermined goal opens the door to conscious awareness which closes the door to the lucid dream. Simply put... do not worry about 'goals'.
