      WILD

Hey. I have tried WILD a few times, and I was just wondering, do you natural Lucid Dreamers find it easy to WILD?

Also, do any non naturals find that they can almost naturally WILD?

I have WILDed once and it seems like a skill that can be learned, and there are ALLWAYS naturals when there is a skill involved.

I've tried WILD many times because to me it seems like the only way to actually control whether you have an LD or not. I think the most difficult thing is to keep calm and not get excited when you start feeling yourself "slip" into sleep.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you more because it has not worked for me yet. But I have (at least I believe) come close.

There's a point when I'm trying to fall asleep that I get tingling, numb sensation in my body - I see all kinds of imagery flashing before me. Sometimes spinning room effect too. But then, I think to myself "oh, this is it, it's happening" and it all goes away. Then I end up awake again.

Practice is the only thing I could recommend.

This is incredibly frustrating. Happens to me all the time.

First time I successfully WILDed I was past the "point of no return" before I figured out what was going on, so I was in a dream before I got excited.

      Lucky me.

Well I am a bit of a natural LDer, and I have only had 2 intentional WILDs...where I layed out with the clear intention to have a complete WILD and they both resulted in amazing expereriences. Usually though my WILDs are unintentional, where I will just lay down to take a nap, and suddenly become conscious when I hit sp/the vibrational stage, or my phone will ring, or some other noise will snap me back to consciousness and prepare me for the LDs to come.
