Finding things again? (for example, songs?)

I just woke up from a dream where I was singing a really pretty song, and there was a boy with me who was recording it, so I was thinking, "Yes! Now, when I wake up, I'll have it for sure!" I know, fail, right?

So of course I wake up, and can't remember the song. And then I got all sad. But then I started wondering, what if I could go back and find it? I've had other dreams of songs, too, and I can remember vague things about them, but never how the song sounded.

So I was thinking, if you could go lucid and go back into a dream with the intention of finding a song you heard in a previous dream, could you do it?

You could use this to find other dreams you had but couldn't remember, like maybe watch them back on a TV screen, or maybe you could remember something you'd forgotten a long time ago.

So, has anyone ever tried this before? Could you go back and find those songs you keep hearing in your dreams? Is it even possible?

This is a really cool idea. It seems possible too but the only way to find out is to try it!
