What do YOU do right when you become lucid ?

Well I ask this because when I become lucid I always seem to forget what I want to do or I forget to stabalize he dream ... So what so you do first? Do you stabalize or just start lucid goals. Oh and I don't have any lucid tasks written down yet, should I? What are your dream goals???

Usually, I whoop ass on whatever evil S.o.B. was attacking me and caused me to realize that I was dreaming.

In all other situations, I usually stare at my hands and ground myself into the dream, first. Then, I either go exploring or do a lucid task.

I usually try to think of my dream goals but end up doing something completely different, THINKING that it was one of my goals.

I keep doing what I shouldn't do in a dream, I mean something like thinking about my body in my bed, and then my dream starts to fade :(

Generally, I will think about goals, then start doing them.

I usually have a big spazz and say "yes, another lucid!". Then I rub my hands, do the nose-plug reality check, touch a few things for stabilization, and run off to fly or whatever. Often I observe what things look like around me, which is why my dream journal entries are so descriptive.

Usually if I'm lucid enough, the first thing I do is teleport to a place where I want to go. I like being in my school during lucids, but anywhere is fine.

First I stabilize the dream and then I talk to people too see what's happening or if I need help. Communication is essential, even if its yourself.

I can never do that! I'm always stuck in wherever the dream started in! How do you do it? I'm good with verbal commands in lucid dreams

I'm usually inside when I become lucid. So, I just summon a closed door and when I open it, I expect the location of my choice to be on the other side. Sometimes you have to open and close the door a few times. :P

It helps to visualize what it'll look like when going through the door during the day, so it's easier to do in a dream.

It all depends, sometimes it is to visit people, sometimes it is to fight, sometimes it is to go to my planet and play with my kids, sometimes it is just to train myself, test stuff I learn in school, learn about my own subconcious, it varies depending on the day and the mood.

This really, even though I've only had a couple of full-on lucids.

I usually laugh at whatever was happening before I got lucid, since I usually DILD... then I take a moment to think about my goals and try to plan how to do them.
My main goal right now is asking my DG's help in conjuring up a likeness of one of my older brothers (or the real one - which would be a bonus!) and ask him some questions to help me find him :) Long story, don't feel like getting into it, but that's my goal :)
