      Sleep Paralysis: Fantastic!

Yesterday, I decided to hit a little nap for an hour or so. I was lying in my recliner, and was super comfortable. About 15 minutes into my laying motionless I felt tingling in my arms, fingers, legs, etc. I didn't know what this was but I thought to myself ( Dont move, and see what happens..), couple minutes later my arms, legs, hands etc felt as if they were ONE with the chair. I started to hear faint sounds like a " breeze " then I straight up heard whispering as if someone was in my ear whispering my name, and other stuff, but these " whispers " were CLEARLY audible. Again, I wanted to move but thought ( dont get freaked out, dont move.. Keep goin ).. Then I felt this huge intense pulsating sensation over my body ( Awesome ). Then came the FUN part! I started to hear a loud ass bang ( like a gun shot in the distance, seriously ). This scared the living hell out of me but I still trooped on. I got this weird feeling as if I was " separated " from my physical body. I was thinking to myself, " This is weird , I am awake and aware but it feels like my body is empty " lol, I started to slowly feel myself spin ( like laying in a hammock and someone twisting it up and letting you go. Keep in mind I was aware of what was going on, and I was thinking " THIS IS CRAZY "...

After the spinning stopped I decided to get up as I had things I needed to do. I never transitioned into a LD fully, though I did see some cool visions ( Hypnogagics? )..

All in All my first experience with SP was fun and super intense. And I feel I took a GIANT leap toward success in LDing.

I don't know much about sleep paralysis but What you've just describes sounds so awesome and brilliant. It's to bad it didn't turn into a WILD though, that could have got interesting.

I would have woken up if it weren't for the fact that I read it was normal and nothing to be alarmed of. Well, I was definitely alarmed, just kept my composure lol. I don't have any tattoos to do today, so Im going to try to make my 4 year old son take a nap... So I can to ( I don't feel right sleeping while he is awake unless my wife is here lol ).

If anyone is reading this and trying to experience SP. I highly recommend trying it, it's super intense. While not as visually stimulating as a LD would be, this is more intense in a different kind of way because instead of dreaming, you're laying there awake, completely aware of your surroundings but still hear and feel all these things. My brother asked me to explain what SP was like, and my best thought was this:

" It's like being stuck between the REAL world and the DREAM world, and its freaky. I told him it's almost like we fall asleep during SP because were not suppose to be here. Like discovering a different "plane"... The voices are one hell of a trip, because you can hear and almost FEEL someone whispering to you. "

Also there was a vision with the " gunshot sound ". I was using a "staple gun" earlier in the day to attach some fake plants in my Iguanas habitat. And in the vision I saw all black, with my silver staple gun, and everytime I heard the bang I saw the staplegun move ( like recoil ).. It wasn't a LD though, because it went away and went back to the normal colorful Hypnagogics. And when I say it sounded like a gun shot, trust me I did. I'm an AVID shooter, and gun collector. I also have my concealed handgun permit and we shoot alot of firearms from little .22s, up to .308s and handguns from .380 - .45acp ( .40sw is my fav. ), so I have alot of experience for a comparison. It was crazy... Im so stoked

Not a full on LD. I had this conscious dream where I saw myself floating off the bed and felt it to. And since I was "aware" I chuckled, and when I did I woke myself up. Still working on the LD lol

Well, reading the post, i got the impression that you could have had an LD had it not been for other buisness. Anyways, you will probably get one soon, as you already have achieved SP.
