Is it possible to lucid dream? Yes, it's possible... However much more unlikely without having good dream recall. If your dream recall isn't good you may have a lucid dream and have no recollection of it.
It is possible to recall dreams without a dream journal, but it demands much, much effort in order to keep them.
I'm working without a dream journal here, and I have been lucid dreaming for years (it came naturally...). Yet, I do not recall every dream I make, and interested in only keeping the big experiences, wich is 2 or 3 dreams a month. Eventually, they will fade from my memory in the later months.
If this is your first time trying to WILD, then good luck to you, I,ve been trying that for a couple days now and it has proven to be not easy. I find the relaxation the hardest to do in order to enter Sleep Paralysis.
I think the OP is asking if it's possible to WILD at night before falling asleep. As in without the WBTB, so attempting to wild before the start of a sleep cycle. I'm not sure about this either and I'm interested. I know it is certainly many times harder, but I'm still curious about the topic.
I heard people can enter sleep paralysis into a dream before sleep. Though they say it's harder.
If youre going to lucid dream you need to be in REM, Unless you immediately go into REM when you sleep (odds are you dont) then it's pretty much impossible. Thats the whole purpose of the WBTB.
Don't WILD when you first go to bed, it doesn't work. You want to do it after you've already had some sleep, right before a REM cycle.
You are doing everything wrong and out of order and want it to work ?
